Story
At least 40 soldiers were killed and about 20 others wounded on 14 February 2019 when an explosives-loaded van rammed into a CRPF paramilitary convoy in Pulwama Districts in Jammu & Kashmir. It was one of the deadliest car bombings in the disputed region’s history. These soldiers were returning to the military camp after a few days of vacation with their families.
Bharat Ke Veer is a Ministry of Home Affairs Initiative supported by Akshay Kumar and Mr. Rajnath Singh. Since the last 2 years, Bharat Ke Veer has been raising funds to support the Bravehearts' families.
The funds raised by Bharat Ke Veer is directly sent to the families' bank accounts. While this money can never replace what the families have lost, but this financial aid is a small token of support to the close ones of the martyrs who lost their lives protecting our nation.
Since Bharat Ke Veer's inception, the whole country has come forward to contribute and stand in solidarity with the heroes of our nation. Join us in this initiative to support the lives of the soldiers who sacrificed their lives for our country in the Pulwama Attack.
