Despite the fact that the progress of a family depends largely on the women of the house, girl education is often suppressed. The family puts less emphasis on educating the girl child, and the situation worsens if the girl is from the underprivileged background. As most of the children coming from this background belong to migrant families, it is hard for them to even avail the EWS quota of schools.

Most of the girls from underprivileged families become a victim of early marriage because of the family pressure and their inability to resist due to the lack of proper education and knowledge. The pressure of bearing a child at a very young age leads to unhealthy childhood for both mother and the next generation. Education is the only sustainable solution to this problem and since past 20 years, OM Foundation is committed to solve the issue.

OM Foundation is fulfilling this need by providing FREE EDUCATION and has supported more than 750 girls from underprivileged background complete their school education. Additional 250+ girls have been equipped with advanced skills and more than 55 girls are currently pursuing their higher education.

OM Foundation provide FREE and high quality school education to underprivileged children who cannot otherwise afford it. The school take education beyond just literacy and empower the students through a holistic approach. With a healthy 55:45 girl boy ratio, we ensure that the girls in the school are provided with a nurturing, child-friendly environment to learn in a joyful manner.

OM Foundation is looking for support to Educate Girl Children with these in house facilities:

• Free and first grade education as well as nutrition and other supplements.
• All modern facility for advanced learning.
• Support till the students start earning through supplementary programs for skill development and employability.
• Mentoring by corporate volunteers and individuals towards mental growth in the right direction.

Through Education and Skilling, we enable these girls feel self-motivated and earn a respectable life for themselves. Coming to the school will be a starting point for their new life and it is expected that the child will be able to transform themselves into an asset, not only for their families but also for the nation.

The added nutritional and healthcare services will ensure the healthier growth of the students.

In 20 years, OM Foundation has supported more than 2,000 direct beneficiaries which has enabled 176 students to complete class 10th and 114 students to complete class 12th.

With an outstanding 55:45 girl boy ratio, we have educated more than 1000 girls who otherwise were forced to waste their lives in household tasks. We have trained more than 250 girls who had an inclination towards building their lives through earning and have helped them secure a good job for them.

The girls who have an interest in pursuing higher education are supported through our College Education Program where we are providing 100% scholarship to the girl child pursuing higher education.
