Why Are We Doing This?

Examinations are a critical milestone in a student’s academic journey. For 10th-grade students, exams not only test their knowledge but also shape their future by opening doors to higher education and career opportunities. Yet, for thousands of students in Karnataka’s government schools, preparing for these exams is a significant challenge.

Many students lack access to essential resources such as guidebooks for Science and Mathematics, which are critical for understanding complex concepts and practicing exam-oriented questions. This problem is especially severe in rural areas like Sringeri, Mudhol, and Davanagere, where economic hardships prevent parents from affording these materials.

We believe every student, regardless of their financial background, deserves an equal opportunity to succeed. By providing 10th-grade Science and Mathematics guidebooks in both Kannada and English mediums, we aim to bridge this gap and empower students to excel in their exams.

Who Is Leading the Initiative?

This initiative is spearheaded by the Lakshmi Educational Aid Foundation (LEAF), a nonprofit organization that has been committed to supporting education for over four years. For the past three years, we have been distributing exam preparation resources to government school students across Karnataka, impacting at least 1,000 students annually.

This year, we’ve already reached 3,000 students, equipping them with high-quality guidebooks and creating a ripple effect of hope and opportunity. With dedicated chapters in Sringeri, Mudhol, and Davanagere, our team works tirelessly to ensure that no child is left behind in their quest for education.
