This vision is at the heart of the Total Residential Education Programme (TREP), a 26 year old project that aims to transform the lives of underprivileged kids from abused, broken, single-parent, or orphaned families, providing them with the tools they need to build a brighter future.

NOTE: TREP is a full free residential education program for ~70 poor and needy students regardless of caste or creed for both boys and girls from 6th std through 10th std. The annual expenditure to run TREP is approx Rs. 35 lakhs. TREP is one of the multi-faceted social service programs of People's Trust (1982) located in the village of Sriramanahalli, Bangalore North 562 163 on the Yelhanka - Doddabollapur road.

How We Achieve Our Mission

TREP follows a rigorous yet compassionate approach to identify and nurture bright, talented, and devotional children from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Our 5-step admission process is meticulous to ensure that we reach those who need us the most:

Identification of Students: We actively reach out to village communities, government schools, and slum areas to identify children from abused, broken, single-parent, or orphaned families, giving them priority during admissions.

Our Diverse Activities

TREP offers a wide range of activities that go beyond traditional education including: singing, dancing, debate, drama, mime, spelling bee, math flash, Yoga, gardening, cooking, stitching and many more skills.

ACADEMICS: Our students engage in dedicated study sessions, vocabulary and math practices, specialized coaching, and various activities to boost their knowledge, confidence, individual abilities and English proficiency.

VALUE-BASED TRAINING: Education in Human Values (EHV) classes using stories, songs and signboards (quotations), skits, and introspection help instill ethical principles in our students.

DEVOTIONAL PROGRAMS: Daily prayers, meditation, bhajans (value-based devotional songs), repetition of writing and chanting God's name and spiritual practices foster spiritual growth and inner peace among our students.

LIFE-SKILLS PROGRAMS: Through a unique reward system (TIMS), students learn essential life skills, including cleaning, dignity of labour, group cooperation and organizational skills as well as financial literacy, banking, budgets and more, promoting overall personal development.
