Support uninterrupted learning for children from socio-economically weaker sections

One year on, most children in Anganwadis and Government Primary Schools are still at home, as a result of the pandemic and lockdown. But their learning and growth needs to continue. At Makkala Jagriti, we have been able to reach out to more than 15,000 school-going children and children in childcare institutions with printed workbooks, lessons on WhatsApp, live creative sessions and community visits to ensure that they continue learning. We have also reached out to parents of Anganwadi-going children and Anganwadi teachers of all districts of Karnataka with video lessons for their daily engagement.
