Support Vaishnavi's School and Boarding Expenses

Vaishnavi is a science student of class XII with psychology as an additional subject. Her family lives in Ranipokhari, at the outskirts of Dehradun. Her father runs a small carpenter shop near his home and manages to earn enough to feed his family. 

Vaishnavi completed class X from a small school in Ranipokhari. She is a hardworking girl who aspires to join the medical field. However, in absence of guidance from her school teachers or parents, she was at the brink of giving up. A neighbour who was a former student of PYDS, recognised her potential and encouraged to appear for the class XI entrance test at PYDS.

Vaishnavi appeared for the test and was granted admission at PYDS in class XI in 2023 as a hostel resident. She chose to study Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Psychology and English. Her warden describes her as a disciplined girl focussed on academics. She has drawn a schedule for herself, which she follows strictly. She wakes up at 6am to study for an hour before school and studies at least till midnight if not more. Her teachers are happy with her time management and diligence. She utilises her free time to research on her subjects and is not distracted easily. She plays badminton to refresh her mind. 

Vaishnavi, who is living away from her parents for the first time in life, misses them dearly. She is determined to study well and support her parents financially and send her brother to a good school. 

All this will be possible if Vaishnavi gets financial support for education and boarding  expenses. So many students like her have realised their dreams and drawn their family out of poverty. All because of donors like you.
