Supporting Women Building Changes

We designed to empower 500 marginalized women and youth in the Kanchipuram and Chengalpattu districts by equipping them with market-oriented vocational skills in tailoring, handicrafts, and computer literacy. Many of these participants come from disadvantaged backgrounds with limited access to education and employment opportunities. By offering structured training, the project enhances their employability and opens pathways for both self-employment and wage-based work. In addition to skill development, the initiative provides awareness on health, hygiene, and social rights, enabling participants to make informed choices for themselves and their families. The combined focus on livelihood creation and personal empowerment not only helps in generating sustainable income but also fosters self-confidence, dignity, and long-term social development. Ultimately, this project seeks to reduce poverty and improve the overall quality of life for marginalized communities.
