As a part of project we are working for tribal communities; the children in slum areas are way from main stream of education. Many laws regarding the education of children have brought about awareness regarding edification in the remote parts of India. And yet many factors like orthodox beliefs, unjust social practices, urbanization, financial and social inequality have hampered the development of the tribal and nomadic tribes.Problems of women and children from southern part of Nagar district - Shrigonda, Karjat, Jamkhed, Parner have reached critical stage. Unwanted instances are taking place leading to social disharmony and castesism.

Swami Vivekanand Rashtriya Antyoday Kendra’s vision is to empower the underprivileged people of nomadic tribes through our institute.

Food:

Swami Vivekanand Rashtriya Antyoday Kendra Project will be providing good quality and wholesome food to the beneficiaries. The menu chart for every week will be finalized with the consultation of experts. The food prepared for the students will include green vegetables, fruits and milk rich in proteins & vitamins. This food will provide for their good health. In order to avoid malnutrition and the medical complications our medical experts will advise wholesome diet. Water used in the facility will be also well tested.

Shelter:

All basic amenities for students will be provided in the shelter. Sufficient toilets and bathrooms will be built. The toilets will be cleaned regularly & hygienic conditions maintained. Separate hostels for girls and boys will be built.

Health& Hygiene:

Health & hygiene is one of the essential needs of the students. All safety precautions regarding the premises will be taken. First Aid box, regular visits of doctor and paramedical staff will be ensured. Clean & fresh clothes will be used. Regular pest control and cleanliness of the premises will be maintained.

Psychological Support:

The students who will be coming to the center belong to the last segment of the society. They will need intense counseling and psychological support. This support will be given at the center.

Education:

Education is an important aspect of rehabilitation in the lives of these children. We believe that education is the key component of rehabilitation; which plays the role of catalyst in their progress. It gives them an opportunity to become financially and socially independent. Children who are above 3 years of age will be admitted to school so that they remain in the mainstream of education and develop an affinity for studying, sports and other school related activities

Primarily we focus on education of children from slums areas. We are providing education, accommodation, food, shelter and exposure to the state of education in rural India.

Our objectives go far beyond providing meager, subsistence level support to our children. Our mission is to transform the lives of children, provide them the ability to dream big, and the tools to make them true.
