Sanskriti Samvardhan Mandal (SSM) is on a mission to nurture this potential, with education as our core focus. Our programs in Fine Arts, Sports, Technology, and Music inspire and empower individuals, transforming lives.

Our Cause: Preserving Local Musical Heritage

At Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji High School, we’ve witnessed the transformative power of music. For the past two years, our music training program has unearthed and nurtured the hidden talents of rural youth. These passionate students have excelled in music exams and competitions, bringing pride to our community.

But our mission is deeper. We strive to preserve Maharashtra's rich musical heritage, including traditional instruments like the Iktara, which are on the brink of extinction. By passing this invaluable knowledge to the next generation, we not only preserve our culture but also empower our youth to pursue their dreams in music.

The Need
