Thank You Mom

While you and I have had the privilege of growing up in the care of our mothers, there are uncountable children in institutional care who have never felt the warmth of their loved ones. Many of these children lost their families early on in their  lives, thousands were separated due to poverty to end up in institutional care and then there were those who never found their way home. It is disbelieving that 80% of these children have a living parent or a family member who can take care of them if given the right support. Yet, they languish in the four walls of a childcare institution .

For more than two decades, Miracle Foundation has been working with institutionalized children to help them return to families and meet their rights of family care, education, mental health, healthcare and safety among others. We strengthen families with livelihood opportunities to keep them together. This Mother's Day, we invite you to participate in our very special campaign #ThankYouMom.

By 2027, Miracle Foundation's goal is to reach 250,000 children. This Mother's Day, we are looking to support 600 families through the funds raised in this campaign. So, let's come together and thank everyone - biological moms, grandmothers, caregivers, aunts, foster moms, sisters, and even single fathers who have committed to giving these children a real and happy childhood.
