This is the third year of the Boots Fundraiser. I and my Mom have teamed up again this year to bring you more of our heart-warming (and feet-warming) Boots.
In return for your donation we are offering our hand-knits. This year we have knit 12 pairs of boots/socks, a few pairs of baby booties, and a couple of baby blankets.
Rs1200 min.: 1 set of baby boots (3 pairs, for 3-6mos old)
Rs1500 min: 1 pair of adult hand-knit boots
Rs1800 min: scarf/muffler [gents, only 1 available, black]
Rs5000 min: 1 baby blanket (30"x40") [only 2 available]
The boots are knit with premium acrylic yarn (Vardhaman/made in USA yarns) and will keep you warm all through winter as you walk about your un-carpeted home. They are easy-care - just throw them in the warm wash cycle of your washing machine.
The blankets are knit with a special sustainable yarn made from redirecting surplus jeans to creating recycled yarn that is 70% cotton.
Each pair of boot-socks takes 8-9 hours for my mother to knit and another hour and a half for me to finish - stitch seams and weave in yarn ends.
Pledge your support, donate now, and receive a gorgeous hand-knits.
After the target is met, the fundraiser will be closed. I will get in touch with the supporters of this little fundraiser so that you may select the items of your choice before they are shipped. Thank you.
