Edumust is a not-for-profit organization based in Jalandhar, Punjab, with a mission to transform the lives of students in government schools by equipping them with digital literacy skills, established in 2015. We achieve this by running supplementary computer literacy classes and providing resources and training to teachers we hire. Currently, our program reaches over 1200 students in seven government primary schools and a community centre in Jalandhar.
Next year, Edumust will focus on strengthening and deepening its digital literacy program for primary government school students (Grades 1–5). We will refine our curriculum, invest in teacher training and classroom facilitation, and build strong monitoring and support systems to ensure consistent, high-quality learning. Alongside this, we plan to thoughtfully expand to a 3 additional schools, using a pilot-based approach to test, learn, and improve before scaling. Our priority is to ensure that every child we reach gains early, meaningful exposure to technology and 21st-century skills—creating strong foundations before the learning gap widens.
VISION:
Our vision is a world in which all children are well-educated and empowered to live a dignified and secure life.
The primary motivation behind Edumust is to promote digital equity and ensure that all children, regardless of their socio-economic background, have access to quality education and digital literacy. This empowers them to live dignified and secure lives, well-prepared for future opportunities and success.
