The Ultimate Summer Camp for 700 children in Delhi NCR

We at Y-Ultimate, are raising funds for our upcoming program - The Ultimate Summer Camp. We use the sport of Ultimate Frisbee to build critical life skills in children, especially those from marginalised socioeconomic backgrounds.

Ultimate Frisbee is a non-contact, self-refereed team sport played with a flying disc (frisbee) mainly in a mixed-gender format. These unique attributes of the game makes it a great tool to build life skills such as self-regulation, conflict resolution, respectful communication, gender sensitivity and much more.

This is a 4-week Ultimate Summer camp program, we aim to work with new beneficiaries, partner with more organisations, spread our program to newer geographies in Delhi and induct our next set of youth coaches. The program is designed to cater to up to 1000 children from across Delhi.

Our youth coaches shall deliver the summer camp program at a local park/playground near the children's home. Children in each of these communities will be introduced to the sport of Ultimate Frisbee, how the sport is played, the game's basic rules and the conflict resolution structure. The program will end with children from one campsite playing with another set of children.

To work with 700 children and youth, Y-Ultimate is partnering with 10+ NGOs and taking this opportunity to 15+ locations across Delhi NCR. We would be extremely grateful to each one of you if you can help us mobilise the necessary resources to create opportunities that would help children work on their self-development and experience the joy of this sport!

Any contribution we receive would be utilised equitably across our various summer camp sites to provide coaching fees for youth coaches, camp jerseys, certificate of completion, drinking water, local transport for friendly matches, first aid and equipment bag.
