Story
We got in touch with 100 families from remote parts of Bengal, Odisha and Jharkhand who are informal workers and now struggling with no income and high food insecurity with their primary bread-earner of these families being affected by Covid-19 pandemic aftermath. Our TASK-FORCE have vetted and verified the family details (with documents and ID proofs).

How we are helping
We have identified family members of these 100 informal workers who are between 18 – 35 years of age with a minimum education. ANUDIP will equip one member from each of these families with an advanced technical job training aligned with his/her merit followed by stable employment within three months.
During this tenure, our emergency response would be supplying food packages to these families to help them combat starvation and them access medical preparedness using digital tools till the time there is an income-flow. This EMERGENCY APPEAL is funds would be used for the major thee themes:
ALTERNATIVE LIVELIHOODS
Up-skill at least one member of a migrant household acquires a fresh skill
FOOD RELIEF
Continue to address immediate needs of migrants through dry ration/ hygiene essentials
PUBLIC HEALTH
Support vulnerable communities in protecting themselves from Covid-19 and help them access medical preparedness using digital tools
