Titli Skill Development Program - Learn & Earn

India will have the world's youngest population by 2020, with an average age of 29 years, and with 13 million people entering the workforce each year. However, as the ASER survey has shown, learning outcomes of students completing primary or even secondary schooling are extremely low, closing pathways to senior secondary or higher education. While vocational skills could be a short-term solution, only 2% of the workforce in India is currently formally skilled, leaving the vast majority of youth without the skills, knowhow or networks to enter the workforce. This leads to large scale unemployment or under-employment, even as industries are unable to fill their job vacancies.

PraveenLata Sansthan conducts short-term courses of 2-3 months duration, focusing on young girls  and women from rural areas and urban slums. The model is based on strong industry linkages and youth counselling, and focuses on hands-on skills training. Courses taught include Tailoring, beauty & wellness, Jewellery Making, Handicraft, Bag Making, Computer and Digital Literacy services and any industrial Training requirement as per Corporate. PraveenLata Sansthan has a four-step mechanism which includes mobilization from source, training, placement in jobs or entrepreneurship, and post-placement support with a handholding of 3 Months.

For youth who are interested in setting up their own enterprises near their homes and to support creation of new jobs, We help them advisory and  mentoring support to set up micro-enterprises.

We will work to build the capacity skills of girls on specific vocational skills. The girls will be trained on building the skills and will also be trained on digital empowerment Platforms, Financial Literacy and help them build groups known as Pragati Sakhis and will be provided to gain knowledge for accessing the information on credit and availing financial services for sustainable living through self employment and as per requirement and interest if girls and women want to start their own entreprise or work from home will be given advisory support and handhold of 3 months and will be linked to startups, industries or accessibility to banking services as per need and interest. We will also work to improve their quality of life by training them on life skills and soft skill. Looking forward to support the NGO has now come into existence with Hybrid Model since 2017 and active operation since 2019 April.

We wish to empower girls and women by building their skills through SHort term vocational Programs and helping them start their own entreprise of help them work from them independently.
