To build hostel for the meritorious girls belonging to weaker sections of society and emanating from rural area coming to Pune to complete their higher education.

VSS is supporting 300 girl students through two hostels in Pune. However, the flow of girls belonging to weaker sections of society and emanating from rural areas coming to Pune to complete their higher education is increasing day by day. Currently, VSS can give admission to only 20% of the girls approached. 

VSS has taken up the construction of one more Girl’s hostel in Pune. The land for this construction was already available with us which was donated to us long back by Dr. Achyutrao Apte, our founder and a great visionary who understood the needs of meritorious students from rural areas having a financially weaker background.

We are looking for funding for the construction of this building. This building will support 332 girls to complete their higher education in Pune. 

Additional 332 girls from rural areas with low economic strata will be able to complete their education in Pune without any financial burden on their parents. Simultaneously, that will help to strengthen and develop their families.
