Story

Join in my campaign to raise money to help special children who needs infusion pump.

This device is used to extract extra iron deposited in the body of the Thalassemia patients due to repeated blood transfusions. In Thalassemia the body is not able to make blood due to defective bone marrow so for longer problems like iron overload they have to undergo Chelation Therapy.

One of the Chelation Therapy is Desferal injections to remove excess iron from the body with the help of the Infusion Pump. This Therapy is very costly. The cost of the pump is Rs.36,750/-each and Desferal Injections cost Rs.1700 per box of 10 vails.
