Join Us in Celebrating Daan Utsav (October 2nd - 8th)!

Objective:  

We believe in the power of giving and community spirit. This Daan Utsav, we aim to bring our neighborhood together to address critical challenges in our rural community through a series of impactful activities. Our goal is to uplift lives by focusing on health, education, environment, and skill-building.

The Problem:  

Rural communities in our region face significant challenges such as limited access to menstrual hygiene resources, lack of environmental awareness, educational gaps, and limited livelihood opportunities for women. These issues can hold back an entire community's progress, making it crucial to act together to create sustainable solutions.

What We Are Doing:  

From October 2nd to 8th, we are hosting a week-long celebration filled with meaningful activities:

Day 1: Menstrupedia Seminar

 We will raise awareness about menstrual hygiene for girls, distributing informative magazines and sanitary pads to ensure better health and dignity.

Day 2: Plantation for Nature

 We aim to inspire environmental consciousness by gifting plants to patients at Srijan Aarogya Yan Health Center, encouraging everyone to contribute to a greener planet.

Day 3: Community Gathering 

 We are organizing a gathering to foster collaboration among villagers for integrated village development. It's a chance to share ideas and build stronger bonds for a better future.

Day 4: Nukkad Natak (Street Play)

 Through street plays performed by local students, we will spread awareness about the importance of education, highlighting its transformative power.

Day 5: Skills Workshop

 We will conduct workshops to train participants in crafting handmade jewelry from raw materials, creating new opportunities for income generation.

Day 6: Srijan Awareness Run

We are organizing a run at Srijan Mohalla Education Center to raise awareness about education and health, emphasizing their importance in rural development.
