Transform the Lives of Youth through Technical & Soft Skill! #SocialforGood

Out of total of 75 districts in the state. District Gautum Budh Nagar is one of the districts which are in the immediate vicinity of Delhi. The districts has Noida, an important industrial town that is developing very fast and have hundreds of small, medium and big scale industries, IT hub and multinational companies in various segments of service sector. As a result, hordes of people from other parts of the country come here in search of job and employment. The gap between skill set among the youth, women and the industry requirement is very wide. This gap only be filled through training and skill acquisition among youth from local communities.

SADRAG mission to enable every youth the dignity of self-reliance, Skill development Centre were initiated in 2015 to enable under-served youth and adults to improve their livelihood options. SARTHAK is a Computer & Graphic Training Centre situated in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. We engaged with youths and society in the field of social and skill development. So that everyone can get an equal opportunity to grow. We provide vocational training to people so that they can become self-sustaining members of society. 

We improve the digital knowledge and skills of all youth, including members of vulnerable social groups, in order to enable the monitoring of the development of ICT technologies in all fields and to meet the needs of the economy and industrial market. The vision of proposed intervention to facilitate the empowerment of youth through skill acquisition and livelihood so that they can improve their quality of life. The proposed program would aim at the following objectives: • Improving basic & advanced digital skills • Lifelong learning of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) • Developing digital skills in relation to the needs of the sustainable livelihood options • Groom youth from rural and semi-rural areas and prepare them for sustainable livelihood • Fill the existing gap between industry requirement and trained manpower. • Improve digital competences • Our core focus on improve and enhance the economic status of Adolescents Youth particularly for those girls who have never stepped out from their homes. The gap between skill set among the youth, women/girls and the industry requirement is very wide. This gap may only be filled through training and skill acquisition among the youth through a structured mode.

Till now we trained 1500 youth in retail management, basic Computer Skills, Graphic Design, Financial Literacy, Spoken English, Tally & Soft Skills. Separate classes were held for different areas of learning with the help of in-house faculty, corporate volunteers, college interns & domain experts. There are many beneficiaries who have received benefits through our skill development courses. Many have been placed in very good company, many youth have learned how to use the computer, mobile apps and create design. Few of them have even set up a business of their own. We firmly believe that Digital Literacy will help children from all backgrounds pick up skills related to IT and Personality development. The program will transform the learning standards of youth and will significantly boost their academic ecosystem and make them tackle industrial challenges in the future.

We will train about 100 youth. So we hope one donor will donate a minimum 1000 Rs to us and contribute to make youth more efficient.
