Transforming Schools into Uttam Schools

Indian Social Responsibility Network (ISRN) as an organisation aims to develop a multi-stakeholder, dynamic network-based platform for the integrated development of the unreachable sections of society. We have been working in the education domain for more than 9 years and our flagship program, the “Uttam School” project focuses on education completion through innovative and engaging learning techniques in the underserved pockets of Delhi, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana.

We at ISRN under the 'Uttam School' project introduce infrastructural changes into the promoted schools in terms of student-friendly learning tools, digital education technology, health and hygiene facilities, improvisation of school premises to engage out-of-classroom learning and imparting training to teachers to keep in-tune with the changing requirement of educational as well as skill-based qualifications for students. 

We have reached key milestones by covering 53 schools under the Uttam School Model, building 179 washrooms, installing 150 smart classrooms, starting 33 STEM labs, installing 33 safe drinking water facilities as well as 6 sanitary napkin dispensing machines - in 5 states and 7 districts.
