शोर भी आवाज़ ही है — मगर बेसबब, बकवास, और अक्सर बेअसर।

आवाज़ में दिशा होती है, भावना होती है।

शोर सिर्फ़ सुनाई देता है, आवाज़ महसूस की जाती है।

शोर भीड़ बनाता है, आवाज़ पहचान।

शोर छुपाता है, आवाज़ जगाती है।

शोर थकाता है, आवाज़ बदल सकती है — सोच, दिल, ज़िंदगी।

जिस भीड़ में हर कोई बोलता है पर कोई सुनता नहीं,

वहीं शोर होता है — बहुत कुछ कहकर भी कुछ नहीं कहता।

और आवाज़?

वो चुप रहकर भी बहुत कुछ कह जाती है।

At Lakshya Jeevan Jagriti, our fellows—young girls representing their communities—are nothing short of superheroes with invisible capes. In a world where raising one’s voice often invites judgment, and girls are conditioned from an early age to shrink themselves, these fellows are redefining courage. From being told “Ladki haath se nikal gayi hai” for simply standing up for their rights, to questioning their self-worth due to lifelong limitations placed on them, their journeys have not been easy. Yet, Lakshya became their turning point—a space to reclaim identity, dignity, and purpose. In a heartfelt and unintentional conversation with our Director, a question emerged that stayed with us: “Awaaz aur shor mein kya farq hai?” It reminded us that a voice with purpose is not noise—it’s power. Today, our fellows stand as living proof of transformation. They carry gratitude not just for the opportunity, but for a second chance at life. A chance to be heard, seen, and believed in. Lakshya highly recommends listening to these voices. They are not making noise. They are making history

Through Lakshya Jeevan Jagriti, we are re-imagining empowerment by building voice, choice, and equity in children and youth coming from the poorest of poor urban neighborhoods.

We envision youth from the low economic backgrounds finding their voice, expressing their power, living their dreams, and becoming leaders in their communities. We directly work with youth (aged 18 to 30) who receive training in community leadership, IT, and career readiness-like programs.

 After this course, Lakshya trains them in interview skills and assists them to get a job. All of these enhance the productivity of these individuals which in turn makes them efficient and competent & simultaneously gears them for the challenges that life has in store.
