Celebrating 15 years of Transformation

End Poverty has been at the forefront of economic and social transformation for the rural poor since our inception in 2009. Our journey began modestly, with initiatives in five villages in the Alwar district of Rajasthan. Today, we have expanded our reach to over 1,200 villages across nine states, directly impacting the lives of more than 1, 50, 000 people.

Our institution is acknowledged as a driving force for sustainable development, recognized for its ground breaking and self-sustaining initiatives that have spearheaded economic growth and elevated countless communities from poverty's grasp. With support from multiple donors, we've raised over 100 crores so far, which demonstrates our unwavering dedication, ethical practices, and steadfast commitment.

The "Great Place to Work" certification is a testament to our organizational commitment and the conducive work environment we foster, which attracts and retains top-tier professionals dedicated to our cause.

Holistic Impact through Strategic Interventions:

End Poverty has advanced its goal of uplifting communities and promoting sustainable development throughout India since its founding. Over 1,50,000 people have been directly impacted by our projects, which have provided real advantages in important subject areas:

1.      Dairy Development: Our initiatives have empowered more than 25,000 rural farmers, improving their dairy production capabilities and granting them year-round access to lucrative organized markets.

2.      Sustainable Agriculture: Through our initiatives, more than 12,525 farmers have embraced sustainable farming methods, leading to increased crop yields and better price outcomes, thereby enhancing their livelihoods.

3.      Climate Change: Our initiatives have reached over 58,000 individuals, implementing strategies to mitigate climate impact and foster environmental sustainability within communities.

4.      Rural Development: End Poverty has positively impacted 54,000 individuals by developing vital infrastructure and community facilities, thereby improving living standards in rural areas.

5.      Education: We have extended educational opportunities to more than 20,000 individuals, breaking the cycle of poverty and opening doors to a brighter future.

Some beneficiaries have benefited from more than one program. This reflects the effectiveness and reach of our initiatives, showcasing our achievement in addressing multiple needs within the community.

Our focus areas closely correspond with nine of the seventeen Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which includes SDG – 1: No Poverty, SDG – 2: Zero Hunger, SDG – 5: Gender Equality, SDG – 7: Clean Energy, SDG – 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, SDG – 9: Industry Innovation and Infrastructure, and SDG – 13: Climate Action. This alignment reflects our holistic approach to addressing global issues through grassroots efforts.

The Need for Core Funding

Despite our significant achievements, our progress is constrained by the critical challenge of inadequate core funding to meet the cost requirements at our head office. This challenge significantly undermines our ability to adequately compensate senior staff for their expertise at our headquarters, upgrade crucial IT infrastructure, robust monitoring & evaluation framework and cover essential administrative expenses. These foundational pillars are absolutely essential for not only sustaining our current operations but also for catalysing further growth and impact. Your support in addressing this funding gap is pivotal for securing the enduring success and sustainability of our mission, including the expansion of End Poverty's reach.
