On the banks of a small river in our village ( Near Nameri picnic place, morisuti Sonitpur Assam-784182) life has always flowed with the water. Children play near the shore, farmers depend on the fertile soil, and families have built their homes here for generations.

But now, the river is slowly eating away the land. Every monsoon, the soil slips away bit by bit, and if nothing is done, one day the river will swallow the entire village.

We at Edearth Green Foundation have taken a pledge to save this community. Our plan is to plant 30000+ trees along the riverbank to hold the soil together and build a protective embankment that will stop the water from reaching the homes.

This isn’t just about saving land—it’s about saving lives, preserving heritage, and giving hope to hundreds of families who call this place home.
