Vehicle required to transport saplings to ReforestIndia

ReforestIndia, a charity that has been planting 'trees for free' for farmers, individuals, old age homes, orphanages, schools and other bodies since 2005, needs a vehicle to transport the tree saplings from the nurseries to the planting sites. On an average, we need to transport about 100-300 saplings, of heights 3-6 feet, and weighing about 5-15kgs, over distances of 10-500 kms, every single day. Our existing vehicle was purchased using donations from volunteers and a corporate who paid the balance amount. The vehicle is over 10 years old now and it costs more to service it than operate it. The vehicle has run its course and needs to be replaced.

Reforestindia provides a much needed option to all citizens and corporates of the world to live a carbon neutral, guilt-free life by offsetting the emissions caused by their actions. All donations made to reforestindia are tax deductible under the Indian Income Tax Act 80G.

We plant every single tree ourselves after conducting a series of stringent checks-like land ownership, watering facility, appropriate native species section, spacing, etc.

We have been planting trees for over 13 years now. Many trees are about 20-30 feet tall, and providing tangible, incalculable, invaluable service, day and night, year after year. The "impact" includes providing fresh air, purifying polluted air, flowers, fruits, absorption of greenhouse gases, along with stabilising the climate.
