Village Sports Festival 2026

Every child deserves the chance to play, belong and dream.

For thousands of children across rural Punjab, sport is more than a game. It is a pathway to confidence, discipline, opportunity and hope. Yet many talented young athletes never get the chance to compete because they lack access to organized tournaments, quality coaching and the right platform.

The Roundglass Foundation Village Sports Festival is changing that.

In 2025, the festival brought together 7,500+ children, 750+ football teams and 500+ volunteers from villages across Punjab, creating an inclusive platform where young athletes discovered their potential, built lifelong skills and experienced the joy of competing as a team.

Building on this success, the Village Sports Festival 2026 will be our biggest edition yet. From August to November 2026, we are bringing together 25,000+ players from 2,000+ football and volleyball teams across 70+ venues throughout Punjab.

This is more than a sporting event. It is a movement to empower young people, strengthen communities, and ensure that every child, especially girls, has the opportunity to play, compete and thrive in a safe and supportive environment.

For many participants, the festival is also the beginning of something much bigger. Through our partnership with Roundglass Punjab FC, talented young footballers will be identified by professional coaches and scouts, opening pathways to advanced training, residential scholarships and opportunities to pursue the sport at the highest level.
