Vishnu Suraj is raising funds for project potential’s eArthshala program that works to provide high-quality education by building a sprawling 15 acre campus in rural bihar

What is the problem?

The millions of people in the districts of rural India face numerous socio-economic obstacles that prevent them from becoming active members of society and contributing to the nation.

Project potential is an organization that aims to solve this issue with a bold and innovative approach, a method that builds rural youth leaders and equips them with the skills and mindsets required to solve a range of problems related to education, health, livelihoods, and beyond.

Our Solution:

All proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards supporting the development of Project Potential’s eArthshala campus in order to support the training of local Village Visionary leaders. 

In 2017, with the support of Mr Narayana Murthy and the family of Mr K Dinesh (Infosys co-founder), Project Potential purchased 15 acres of land in rural Bihar to build eArthshala, a first-of-its-kind campus for training Visionary sustainable development leaders. The aim is to build an environment that will train the new generation of sustainable development leaders for India. The campus is being built with sustainable materials like adobe bricks and bamboo and is being built by local artisans and youth, who are being trained on-the-job. 

There is no shortage of people, both old and young in rural Bihar who have the aptitude, ambition and creativity for innovation, who lack the resources and opportunity to truly bring about change. Project potential intends to make these dreams a reality with your help. They hope to build unique concepts like food forests, biogas plants and hydroponics that will help the campus fully self-reliant when it comes to both electricity and food.

I strongly believe that every human being has the ability to bring about change and create an impact on a large scale when provided with the resources to do so. This fundraiser brings us closer to social and economic justice.

How you can help:

In order to aid and accelerate the development of eArthshala campus, I am raising funds to support the on-the-job skill training of local youth. With the funds raised, I hope to support the training of 20 individuals in various construction-related skills through on-site training for 1 month.

This method will not only enable us to teach the youth skills but also help build this campus that will help create the Village Visionaries Bihar needs.

Rs. 3,500 - support the on-site training of 1 youth for 1 month

Rs.10,000 - support the on-site training of 3 youth for 1 month

Rs.20,000 - support the on-site training of 6 youth for 1 month
