VISHWA JYOTHI OLD AGE HOME

At Vishwa Jyothi NGO, we provide food and shelter for elderly people who are not taken care of by their families because of various reasons. We understand the difficulties that the elderly face, especially when they are living in poverty. Our Old Age Home provides daily needs for the elderly and ensures they are in a comfortable environment.

With the support of Vishwa Jyothi NGO, we are looking to upgrade our Old Age Home and take it to the next level. Our elderly residents are enthusiastic about the new plans and goals we have set for them. We have also planned creative activities such as Bag making, Incense making, Candle making, etc. to develop their financial status through skill development activities. This will not only improve their economic status but also help them become more self-reliant.

We believe that through these activities, the elderly can improve their family background and economy. We aim to provide training on creative activities and awareness camps about self-dependency to make them more self-sufficient. With this initiative, the elderly at our Old Age Home will have the opportunity to earn some pocket money for their daily needs and also contribute to their families.

We help women like Saraswati. She was born with a disability and was both homeless and parentless. She used to live on the roadside and beg for her livelihood. But now, at 75 years old, she cannot take care of herself. That's why I brought her to our caring centre, Vishwa Jyothi old age home.
