Wishes and Blessings Old Age Home

Over our 3 years of operations, Wishes and Blessings realised that the section of the society which needs the most help are the old and the abandoned people.The statistics are shocking and show that there is an extreme shortage of old age homes in the country. There is a need to fill the gap between the required and actual numbers of old age homes and provide the old , abandoned and abused people the love, respect and dignity they deserve in the last stages of their lives. Thus, Wishes and Blessings wants to play an active role to change this grim reality and start a chain of old age homes.

Our plan is to setup a chain of old age homes. Our first home is going to be a pilot project which would house around 15 elderly citizens with no financial or social support to ensure that they live as valued members of the society. Our goal is to provide a healthy and friendly environment for abandoned senior citizens in order to ensure their holistic development. The Wishes and Blessings Old Age Home would be free for its residents and would provide nutritious meals, recreation and medical facilities to its residents. The initial set-up amount along with the 1 year running cost would be raised through the ADHM.

The Wishes and Blessings Old Age Home would make a significant difference to lives of the old and abandoned who have lost all hope in life. It would provide them, the love, dignity and respect they deserve in the last stages of their lives.We would start small, through the means of a pilot project and gradually expand all throughout the country.
