Yashraj Goyal’s Campaign to conduct year long holisctic learning & excursion visit for 100 under-resourced rural children in Ahmedabad

Hello! I am Yashraj Goyal, studying in Class 11 at Ahmedabad International School. I am raising funds to empower and educate students from under-resourced background. My campaign will support year-long holistic learning at rural government schools & excursion visit at Science City ( Ahmedabad )in month of December . The funds will support regular teaching sessions & other overheads related to the excursion visit along with any materials needed .

My target: 100 students

Total campaign target : 2 schools * 100 students * 2 Visits

My campaign will support UN’s SDG 4: Quality Education, in partnership with TIDE Foundation.

The cost for year on holistic learning sessions + Science City Visits (100+ activities) for each student only costs Rs. 700. Help me change the lives of 5 students by donating just Rs. 3500.

Why holistic learning:

Resonating with the National Education Policy (NEP 2020) we understand that education is not just about textbooks and exams; Holistic Foundational Learning- we bridge gaps in minimal learning levels. Holistic education goes beyond mere literacy and numeracy and covers aspects of physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual education. We have run several different HFL modules in the past, we now plan to implement the initiative at scale to schools around Gujarat.. All children in grades 5-8 will attend these sessions.

About TIDE Foundation:

TIDE is a start-up educational reforms organization founded in November 2014 that aims at bringing about a sustainable change in the educational system. As of November 2022, we have impacted the lives of 32,500+ individuals. We have a strong team of 100+ members contributing regularly across our 6 projects.

Our flagship program, Block Education Transformation Initiative, aims to bring sustainable reforms in government schools. Our focus is on transforming school blocks, addressing literacy and numeracy gaps through our learning booklets, providing personalized mentoring support and improving teaching methods. We are currently working with 110 schools in Sanand, Ahmedabad.

With your support, we aim to create a replicable model for education transformation at the block level, which can be adopted at district, state, and national levels.
