“ Help to 100 abandoned Elders in need of daily nutrient food and hygiene” in Vadalur, Tamil Nadu, India  Project Summary           This project will provide a daily, nutrients, sanitation material, casual wear, safe accommodation and counseling, for 100 poor & desperate elderly people living in Vadalur, Elders who left with no one behind & no social security. The goal of the project is create decent living condition and happy ending in their terminal life.   PROJECT AREA:         Ramalinga Swami, popularly known as Vallalar, was born and brought up in Marudur village next to Vadalur. Arudperunjothi, with the aim of loving life as a personal mercy, Vallalar who lights the never-ending stove to quench the fire of hunger. In 1867, he established Sathya Dharamchal in Vadalur,Cuddalore District of Tamilnadu India . The great work of feeding the hungry has been going on for a long time. It has become a refuge for those who hate life. This is where life starts again for 100 old aged (above 80 years) people who have been abandoned by their children.   PROBLEM EXISTS:         In Indian society, most of the elder Persons are become as abandoned by their families and relation. The co-family members are seeing them as burden and problem of life. Less care, insulting and other torture are taking the most of aged as destitute condition in that some of them are begging and remaining are under severe problem due to Unable to earn for their upkeep because of the age. They are weak in health due to age, hunger and health problems. It is difficult for them to get nutrias. Their eyes have not good sight. They are suffering severely from hunger, ill health, left isolated by his community. There is no shortage of food on the part of the temple administration to the elderly orphans.          A 50 bedded old age home is functioning in vallalar temple for people above 80 years of age. But there is no space according to the number of elderly people. Due to this, the elderly are stuck in the rain, sun and snow without adequate facilities to stay. A new mandapam was built near Dharamsala on this occasion. Lodging is allowed only during monsoons. On other days, senior citizens are asked to stay outside and insisted on by the administration.          It is sad to see them lying in the door of the shop, under the tree, shivering in the cold at the bus station with great stress and not knowing where to go. When asked the reason for not being allowed to lie down in the hall: When allowing the elderly, the room cannot be cleaned due to old age and does not emit physical ailments. Also there is no manpower for maintenance. For this reason we refuse. What other option we have but this, they said.          Due to family disputes, anger, enmity, jealousy, children and relations, many people invade Satya Gnanasabha by Vallalar is waiting for the refugees in their home town.   Proposedactivities: •	Create/raise awareness on the community and family members so that they can understand their responsibility for old age people; (This activities will be undertaken in the form of individual counseling, group training and mass awareness); •	Provide nutrients food for 100 aging people three two times a day for 12 months in order to able    them recover from their physical weakness and nutritional gaps; •	Provide night cloths like blanket, mattress and bed sheet and keep their comfort and health at  home; •	Facilitate and provide hygiene materials (Body soap , hair oil, and cloth detergent) so that increase the health situation of every beneficiary ageing people;
