Founded on 1st May, 1996 by Late Kaushik Das, the organisation now supports 40 beneficiaries but dreams to expand to support 100. The beneficiaries package tea, grocery and spices at a small packaging unit. Tea and spices are also retailed under the brand name "Nav Jeevan". Beneficiaries are also now making paper bags to replace plastic and retailing the same through various outlets.

Even though India has over 50 million physically/mentally disabled people there are few disabled-friendly policies, which has resulted in their marginalisation. 42% of our public buildings do not follow the proper procedures to make public structures accessible to the disabled. In addition, only 38% of disabled people are employed leaving the rest deprived of a life of dignity and self-reliance. 
 We have a project called, No Profit No Loss. It is a tea and grocery packaging unit with a workforce of 32 employees who are either physically or mentally disabled. They are happy working in this stress-free environment and are making a useful and productive contribution to society.Our workforce packages tea and grocery items brought in from nearby tea gardens and fields. They also make potted ornamental plants and paper shopping bags. All our employees are paid a stipend of 2500/- Rs. per month. 
 We have positively impacted the lives of 32 individuals who are all independent. The families of our employees truly understand our contribution as they have been witness to their rise in confidence and self esteem.
