<ul><li>Education is the building stone of development and growth, it provides one with the tools to hone their skills and presents people with the ability to break through social barriers and constructs to start a legacy of their own. The United Nations today recognizes Education as a basic human right for the same reason because it gives people a chance at a better life.</li><li>Most children in the villages near Kalagachhia hardly make it to high school and only a handful make it to college. This makes the young population vulnerable. Lack of interest in education and poverty act as a major tool for young children to look for work early in life. Leaving behind education and killing their dreams they take the train to South India to work in Clothes or footwear companies or buses to Kolkata to work in Umbrella companies. If these two options do not work, they are left to work in fisheries making rich richer and poor even poorer.</li><li> Due to poverty, child marriage and child labour is very prominent in this village. A world-class school like Navadha could be a beacon of hope and light for many "kyunki padhega India tabhi to badhega India".</li><li>The aim of Navadha School is very simple. It has to come up in villages with no connectivity, no proper roads,no proper transportation, and basic amenities like clean drinking water and health are still distant dreams of many.</li><li>Navadha school would be a focal point of development for not only kalagachhia but also in and around 10 villages around kalagachia. Navadha school is a child-friendly inclusive school that will provide free education for orphans, differently-abled children, girl children with single parents,s and families lying Below Poverty Line.</li></ul> 
 <ul><li>1. Navadha school aims to be a child-friendly school with quality education and inclusive characteristics.</li><li>2. Navadha school will provide education at affordable prices. It also provides free education for orphans, differently-abled children, girl children with single parents, and families lying under BPL.</li><li>3. We will provide free school dresses, shoes and school bags with stationeries and </li><li>wheelchair facilities for differently-abled children.</li><li>3. This child-friendly school involves a Ramp for wheelchairs, Western Toilet, colorful drawing painted walls, child-friendly corner, and multiple tricky games to attract children's attention. </li><li>4. Navadha school provides free nutritious meals for all the children.</li><li>5. Navadha school is based on Inclusiveness which involves Right to Life, Right to Development, Right to Protection, and Right to Participation.</li><li>6. Navadha school promotes Digital as well as Community Learning. After school, the school premises will be used for community learning center purposes. </li><li>7. School boundary walls will be made up of Eco bricks which would teach the students about 4 R’s that are reuse, reduce, recycle and recover.</li><li>8. Under the Digi-Pal program, Navadha School will provide the Virtual International knowledge Exchange Program where children and their mentors from different countries will interact with our children.</li></ul> 
 We want to build this school as a world-class inclusive school for which every child should look up to and deserves the best.We want to build this school to 12th standard registered under CBSE Board which ensures that every child from nearby villages as well should at least complete his education without any obstacles.The School in the last 6 months has a strength of 60 children. many more are yet to get admitted due to lack of space and equipment in the schoolWe are looking to enroll 300 children in the following 2 years provided enough funds we have to sustain the project To make the school more impactful we are trying a couple of things -<ul><li>1. Use BioGas for cooking.</li><li>2. Use solar panels for electricity in the long run. </li><li>3. Encourage parents and students to plant vegetables to grow their own vegetables to help school become sustainable in a small way.</li><li>4. Our prime focus is to build classrooms for 1 to 5th in the adjacent land. </li><li>5. We started the school with 6 teachers, one administrator, 2 cooking staff, 3 supporting staff, and one security.</li></ul>

<ul><li>Building Dreams Foundation is a youth-driven nonprofit organization founded in August 2016 and registered on 13h feb 2017 that follows a model of Food, Education, Environment and Empowerment.</li><li>We are a growing family of 40 full-time volunteers and over 150 part-time volunteers and interns from across the world. We operate out of seven centers in three states – Uttarakhand, Bihar, Bengal.</li><li>Building Dreams Foundation aims towards a multitude of philanthropic endeavours and projects that improve the lives of impoverished children, struggling families, the elderly, the disabled, as well as the environment, thus benefiting the society as a whole.</li><li>Our focus is to change the quality of education at government schools. We are also trying to bring in quality education to all the children living in slums to their doorsteps by the project Door Step School.</li><li>We share a common dream – a world where every child is showered with love and is given opportunities for their bright future, a world where no child's innocence is marred by the horror of child labor, rag picking or begging, and a world where women's wellbeing is paid attention to and they're empowered to sustain themselves and their family.</li><li>The only way to make people free from bondage is to make them financially independent. So our focus is to create small-scale businesses for women so that they have a steady passive income.</li><li>Building Dreams Foundation has a team of dedicated youth driven game changers who mentor and care for the children. Our aim is to love, nurture and educate children from socioeconomically deprived backgrounds and give them an opportunity that helps them flourish into good human beings and responsible citizens.</li></ul>Ongoing Major Activities<ul><li>One Day One Child Campaign to ensure every child the best childhood possible.</li><li>Construction of Navadha School in kalagachhia, West Bengal from class 1 to class 8th.</li><li>Computer lab in Navadha School, Dehradun.</li><li>Installation of more Community Fridges in the City of Dehradun.</li><li>Meals On Wheels to prevent food wastage and make Dehradun a city of Zero Food Wastage.Under this Project 800000 people's served , 2000 tons food saved</li><li>Clothes Distribution Drive to make every people live with dignity.</li><li>Installation of Sanitary Pad Banks in Public Toilets, Schools and Slums.</li></ul>
