In the dark and dingy alleys of red light areas, injustice, pain and suffering run rampant. And the worst affected are the children who grow up in red-light areas and are subjected to constant abuse and violence. “The sight of a 12-year-old girl being gang-raped by a group of men near a house l haunts me to this date. I was filled with anguish and resolved to do something,” says Girish Kulkarni who has made it his life’s mission to rescue children from red light areas and give them a safe and secure childhood. In the last 3 decades Girish has saved over 1100 girls from a life of abuse in red-light areas, giving them a loving home, education and medical care. He has further supported over 20,000 children with a better life.Sadly, 250 of the children rescued from abuse and exploitation are HIV positive. Being a part of the campaign a youth should engage at least 8 hours a month for community development initiatives. We are introducing a unique volunteer tracking platform to appreciate, reward and accredit volunteers for their commitment towards creating a just and peaceful world. As a part of the campaign, we are now launching an annual celebration of volunteerism - The Volunteers Fest in collaboration with International Volunteers Day 2022. It aims to promote the spirit of volunteerism through engaging, empowering and encouraging the youth of India. Through the initiative we aim to engage 1000+ youth in volunteering activities, empowering 100+ volunteers to create and lead social initiatives and recognise 100+ youth for their effort to promote volunteerism. Due to poverty, many families in Kerala are unable to provide their children with the necessary school supplies, textbooks, and other resources needed to succeed in their education. As a result, these students may struggle academically, fall behind their peers, and face a range of long-term challenges related to educational and economic opportunities. This lack of access to educational resources can further widen the gap between the rich and the poor, exacerbating existing inequalities and limiting the potential for economic and social mobility. This issue is particularly pressing in Kerala, which has a high literacy rate but also significant economic inequality. 
 To address the lack of access to educational resources for economically backward students in Kerala, we are planning to organize an educational kit donation campaign. The campaign will aim to collect and distribute educational kits to students in various schools across the state. To start the campaign, we will reach out to individuals and organizations in the community to donate school supplies, textbooks, and other educational materials. We will also seek partnerships with local businesses and corporations to support the campaign and increase its impact.Once we have collected the necessary materials, we will work with schools and teachers to identify students who are most in need of these educational kits. We will distribute the kits directly to the students, ensuring that they have the necessary tools to succeed in school.In addition to providing educational kits, we will also work to raise awareness about the importance of education and the challenges faced by economically backward students in Kerala. We will use social media, local newspapers, and other communication channels to share our message and inspire others to get involved. 
 The impact we aim to create through our educational kit donation campaign is to help economically backward students in Kerala overcome the barriers to education and achieve academic success. By providing students with the necessary school supplies, textbooks, and other resources, we hope to give them the tools they need to succeed in school and beyond. We believe that education is a key driver of social and economic mobility, and that by supporting education for all, we can help to create a more just and equitable society.
