 Child Help Foundation aspires to provide a framework and support structure for underprivileged children. This project is primarily aimed at providing holistic education to students of the selected school and involves interacting directly with the community and local officials. Child Help Foundation creates the strategies and works towards effective educational development in these areas.The project consists of capacity building, advocacy, and counseling sessions, which will provide hands-on opportunities for students, along with their teachers, to explore the use of modern learning aids and instruments from a team of experienced facilitators and counselors. 
 Child Help Foundation has executed several such projects in the past with a remarkable measure of success. We are proficient at identifying, planning and executing projects in the educational sphere. Education is the pillar of society, it shapes young lives, paves their future and thus the country is benefited in the long run due to the availability of educated manpower. Menstrual hygiene and management is an issue that is insufficiently acknowledged and has not received adequate attention in SDG 3 - Studies that make the problem visible to the concerned policymakers are very much warranted.Adolescence is a vulnerable period in human life cycle characterized by rapid growth and development coupled within numerous physiological and psychological changes (NNMB, 2000) some problems faced by the adolescents in the project area are menstrual disorders, leucorrhoea and psychological issues. The problem in numbers:- •	35, 50, 00,000 menstruating women and girls in India •	71% have no knowledge of menstruation before their first period •	82% of girls use alternatives such as old cloth, rags, sand, or ash. •	Only 18% use sanitary pads•	88% of adolescent girls are unaware of the health implications due to poor menstrual hygiene.Health &amp; Nutrition Status•	56% of Adolescent Girls (AGs) are anaemic•	47% are undernourished with low BMI •	30% of adolescent girls give birth to their first child •	41% of maternal deaths take place in 15-24 yrs•	Dropout rate (I-X): 57.29% •	50% of adolescent girls marry before the age of 18*Source: - Ministry of Women and Child Development, GOI, on SABLA. 
 The Child Help Foundation initiative Swach Vidyalaya Mission will engage multi-sector groups, including governments, corporate CSR and the NGO community to sustain not only a discussion but encourage affirmative action on addressing menstrual hygiene management. 	To achieve the mission, the CHFs theory of change adopts a three-pronged approach by: •	Educating girls, women, boys and men of good menstrual hygiene practices. •	Enrolling citizens and existing menstrual hygiene product users in a supportive, taboo-free environment to create an open forum for discussion and deliberation. •	Enabling the adolescent girls to access the best quality menstrual hygiene products as CSR commitment for Swacch Bharat Swachh VidyalayaChild Help Foundation Swachh Vidyalaya is a campaign in line with Swachh Bharat Swachh Vidyalaya Mission which aims for “at least one incinerator in the girl’s toilet block and niche to keep sanitary napkins. 
 The Benefits to School Children 1.	Girls are particularly vulnerable to dropping out of school, partly because many are reluctant to continue their education when toilets and washing facilities are not private, not safe or simply not available. When schools have appropriate, gender-separated facilities, an obstacle to attendance is removed. 2.	Basic facilities that provide for good hygiene and privacy, along with sensitive health promotion assist girls in staying in school and completing their education3.	The provision of water, sanitation and menstrual hygiene facilities in school secures a healthy school environment and protects children from illness and exclusion. It is the first step towards a healthy physical learning environment, benefiting both learning and health4.	Clean water, sanitation, and menstrual hygiene in schools aim to make a visible impact on the health and hygiene of children through improvement in their health and hygiene practices. It improves children’s health, school enrolment, attendance and retention and paves the way for a new generation of healthy children. This is every girl child’s right.5.	By providing gender-segregated toilets, students are assured of privacy and dignity, a particularly important factor for girls’ school attendance.

Swachh Vidyalaya Mission 

Providing Emergency Medical Support to the underprivileged sections of society still remains a goal that has seen widening economic and social inequalities. Providing Medical support to the weaker sections of the society is sacrosanct to achieving the SDG3 (Sustainable Development Goal of Good Health and Well Being).Our country is home to the largest child population in the world. Under the Emergency Medical Support Programme, we support treatment to those children who require critical medical treatment and whose parents are not able to bear the cost of hospitalization. The Cause for Concern:--1.73 million children die in India every year due to lack of treatment.-30 percent of all premature deaths are due to respiratory diseases-8,40,000 children in India die before completing the first year of their lives-61 percent of total deaths in India were attributed to lifestyle or non-communicable diseases (NCDs) 
 Child Help Foundation's flagship program is to provide Emergency Medical Support to those families who are unable to afford the cost of treating their children. CHF, to date, has provided emergency medical support to 938 children. CHF has supported children suffering from Cancer, Congenital Heart Defects, and several other diseases. Many children succumb to various illnesses because they couldn't get proper medical care. Timely intervention by CHF ensures that children can live their lives and fulfill their dreams.To achieve our objective of providing Medical aid to needy children, CHF-Advises parents of the various government grants that are available as relief funds.-Guides parents to other charitable trusts to raise funds.-Negotiates with Hospitals on behalf of the parents to reduce the cost of treatment.-Raises funds via various internal teams and supporting agencies.-Follow up on the post-operative treatment of the child. CHF has also partnered with several major hospitals all over the country and works tirelessly to ensure that all children admitted to the hospitals are given proper care and treatment. 
 By providing emergency medical support to underprivileged children CHF not only ensures that they get proper treatment but are also looked after post their treatment. Children who receive medical support from Child Help Foundation take many months and even years to recover, during this treatment phase many of them are unable to attend schools. Due to this period of absence from schools and lack of motivation or financial backing, many of them end up as dropouts. And because of this process “Swastha Se Shiksha Programme” was born.We strive to see that the under 5 mortality rate reaches zero and there are no child deaths by 2030.

Emergency Medical Support

Lakhs of children in India, who belong to underprivileged families, are unable to receive the treatments they need in order to fight against the various life threatening diseases. Many poor families from rural areas fail to even diagnose the child with the correct disease to move towards curing it. Understanding this, Child Help Foundation started the Emergency Medical Support Program and has been striving to save the lives of these children and aid them in having Good Health and Well Being.Congenital Heart Diseases (CHDs) are very common in India. Considering the birth prevalence of congenital heart disease as 9/1000, the estimated number of children born with congenital heart disease in India is more than 2,00,000 per year. The warning signs in infants and children may include a heart murmur or abnormal heart sound, cyanosis (a bluish tint to the skin, fingernails, and/or lips), fast breathing, poor feeding, poor weight gain, an inability to exercise, and excessive sweating. According to the National Family Health Survey, the infant mortality rate (IMR) in India stands at 34 per 1000 live births. About 10 percent of these infant deaths can be attributed to congenital heart diseases (CHDs) alone.The treatment for CHDs is expensive for people living on daily wages or belonging to economically weaker sections of society. Late diagnosis because of home births and limited or no screening at birth in the villages also are some reasons that the defect goes unnoticed for some time. The unavailability of specialized medical care and infrastructure in rural areas forces parents to travel with their sick children to cities for their treatments. Lack of safe transport with no medical supervision for long-duration often leads to the children developing complications like hypothermia and hypoglycemia.  
 Child Help Foundation interacts with different medical specialty departments of various hospital partners regularly and tracks down updates on underprivileged children who need emergency medical treatment. We also endorse an appeal from partner hospitals, families of underprivileged patients, and NGOs for Emergency Medical Support. 
 We wish to support as many children as possible whose parents are not able to bear the cost of their child's treatment due to weak financial status
