Mitti Café is a chain of cafes that provides experiential training and employment to adults with physical and intellectual disability.The organisation’s outreach initiatives helps create awareness about inclusion and disability rights. Mitti Cafés across India are managed by hundreds of adults with disability who have have in the last few years served over 6 million meals and beverages-thereby creating awareness about inclusion with every meal served.They have 16 cafes within institutions like Wipro,Infosys,Accenture,Wells Fargo,ANZ Bank,IQVIA and now Cytecare Hospital to name a few.Their warriors with disabilities in this pandemic have cooked and served over 2 million meals to the poor and vulnerable communities and homeless groups,thereby proving the magic of abilities as a result of economic independence and dignity .In the short span Mitti has been featured in the Forbes list of 30 under 30 ,is a Commonwealth Youth Awardee and has won awards like the NCPEDP Mindtree Hellen Keller Award ,Times of India-She Unlimited Award ,Rotary Exemplar award ,Microsoft Nipman Award, Tiecon Young female Entrepreneur of the Year Award,amongst others.

Charlies Animal Rescue Centre – CARE established in January 2013, initially on half an acre of land adjacent to the picturesque Jakkur Lake, later moved to a larger place at Mitteganahalli, Yelahanka. The inspiration behind the trust, is 15 year old Charlie, a differently abled, 3 legged Indian Dog who was an established figure in the field of canine therapy since 2005. Charlie passed away in March, 2017, but has left behind a legacy that the CARE shelter aims to live up to through rescue and rehabilitation of animals in need.The Care Shelter is also home to animals of all kinds which includes dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, pigs, ducks and a calf. These animals are permanent residents of CARE due to their varying needs and special conditions – blindness, differently abled, paraplegic,serious ailments, aged and who require constant care, medical attention and love. These animals will live at CARE for the rest of their lives.

The Akshaya Patra Foundation, for 20 years, has been a purveyor of the Mid-Day Meal Programme (MDM) supporting government school students in India with a hot nutritious lunch every school day, encouraging underprivileged children to remain enroled and complete their secondary education.At its core, the Foundation aims at countering malnutrition while supporting the right to education of socio-economically disadvantaged children. The midday meal or breakfast served in schools serves as an incentive for children to attend school and for parents to send their children to school. Resulting in an improved enrolment rate in government schools, regular attendance, enhanced performance and nutritional profile of the children, while reducing the dropout rate. The arrangement also serves as a source of economic support to the family, as every school day one nutritious meal for their child is taken care of.At present, beside serving children through the MDM Programme, Akshaya Patra continues to serve communities in need:Cooked Meals served to:·        COVID-19 patients and their families in hospitals·        Essential and frontline workers, including sanitization workers, staff in government hospitals·        Migrant workers·        Homeless and people in night shelters·        Food for Isolated Groups of people e.g. the elderly·        Disadvantaged familiesGrocery Kits distributed to:·        Households in underprivileged communities (contains pulses, rice/atta, oil, spices, fortified salt and sugar; ingredients in kits are based on local tastes)·        Government school children through the Happiness Kit Initiative (contains rations to promote nutrition, hygiene products to boost immunity, and stationery)·        Family Happiness Kits distributed to serve the entire family. Includes rations, educational material for children, and stationery and hygiene products.  ·        Raksha Kit which acts as an incentive for people from marginalized communities to get vaccinated (includes rations, soap and awareness booklet)·        Distributed to underprivileged anaemic pregnant women, Shakti Kit promote a healthier pregnancy and the birth of healthy babies

<a href="http://www.buzzwomen.org/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" target="_blank">Buzz Women</a> enables underserved women by making knowledge, skills and tools available at their doorsteps towards economic, social, personal and ecological empowerment through various training. The programs are built on the foundation of the 5 Cs - Cash, Care, Climate, Community, and Confidence. Buzz Women wishes to aid in combating poverty not only through a change management process that deals with the economical aspect of poverty, but also the ecological, psychological, and sociological aspects. The program is divided into multiple interventions that are contextual and meaningful. Buzz India, through its program aspires to achieve the 1st SDG of ‘No Poverty’ and 5th SDG of ‘Gender Equality’. The women who go through our intervention have inculcated a savings habit (79%), participate in household decision making (69%), demonstrating confidence (67%), expand their enterprises (69%), and actively participate in community discussion (28%).  From 2012 to-date Buzz Women has reached 5,00,000 women, and has more than 10000 volunteer Community anchors in its network across 11 districts of Karnataka. We have also been able to franchise the model to The Gambia and Georgia. We aim to reach 1 crore women by 2030 in all 30 districts of Karnataka.

We are a registered Section 8 company, founded in Sept 2015. Six of us from education/development backgrounds came together to create holistic and meaningful interventions to address the problem of educational inclusion of marginalized ‘out of school children’, typically from migrant families.We believe that collaboration will make a change - be it individual supporters, volunteers, CSRs, government departments or other organisations in the space.Please read a summary about about how we approach the design of our interventions and if you find synergy with us, we would be grateful if you partner with us and enrich our efforts through your contribution. It takes a drop to make an ocean and every contribution will move us closer to our vision of "creating a world where every individual leads a meaningful and dignified life." Our ApproachThe problem of school dropouts and inaccessibility to quality education is huge in our country. Close to 80% of children in India drop out of school by Grade 10. To address the issue we run Bridge Learning Centres either located in government schools or communities around Sarjapur Road, where we bridge literacy and numeracy gaps in out of school children. This helps in mainstreaming into the ‘host’ government school. Additionally, we work in the government school itself to support its Classes 1-2-3 and ensure foundational learning - which is due to every citizen of any country. Other offshoots of our core programs are the Early Childhood Program for younger siblings + Bridge Learning Program for pre-teen/teen drop outs from the same communities.It is not sufficient but necessary to also work with the families and the communities our children belong to for a meaningful change. Our community interventions thus focus on a multi-pronged approach to<ul><li>build awareness through parental workshops about - parental roles in education, social ills - substance abuse, child marriage, violence, etc</li><li>facilitate identity documentation and creation of bank accounts</li><li>enable linkages to social benefits - like Labour Cards, eShram Cards</li><li>Partner to run Health Clinics close to our communities and partner with the Public Health Clinics.</li></ul>

Rise Against Hunger India - RAHI envisages a world without hunger. The organization provides food and other life-changing aid to communities in crisis.
