Isha Vidhya rural schools have been started in villages (under the umbrella of Isha Education, established in 2005) to provide high-quality school education to underprivileged rural children who cannot otherwise access or afford it. Isha Vidhya’s English-medium schools open the door for rural children to prepare for higher studies and to join the workforce. The holistic, activity-based approach of Isha Vidhya’s educational system, nurtures children’s development beyond just academics, ensuring that students realize their full potential and learn in a joyful manner.With 10 schools and over 10,000 students, the members of Isha Vidya actively support and promote education among female children in the villages as a result of which their schools have seen an increased enrolment of girl children.Most of our children are first generation school goers and 59% of our students are on scholarship. The on-going pandemic has severely affected the families of our children. This year with CSR funds nearly non-existent, we are entirely dependent on individual donors to contribute for the scholarships of the students. This campaign is to seek your support for these deserving children.

Isha Education

We are a registered Non-Governmental organization working for the welfare of the poor and needy. We started Sharanalayam in a small rented premise with 7 street and orphaned children in 2001. Today it is a loving home for 200 inmates including abandoned children of beggars, sex workers, HIV-infected, mentally retarded, and mentally ill. In order to continue with this charity work we are fully dependent on public donations. It is with great difficulty that we have been able to feed so many needy souls, provide them with medical care, clothing, and shelter and above all more than 50 children are today proudly carrying their bags to school. Sharanalayam - Jothi is functioning with more than 80 abandoned mentally ill and mentally retarded children and adults who are wandering in the streets and we are giving them shelter, food, medical care etc. The present building is not enough for these less fortunate people who are increasing in number day by day.

Children of India Foundation (CIF) is a registered Non-Profit Organisation with its roots in Coimbatore, India, serving the most vulnerable children and the communities in the country. Functioning from a branch office in Bangalore, CIF has collaborated with Terre des Hommes Netherlands to combat Child Exploitation in India.

Native Medicare Charitable Trust, known as NMCT was registered under Charitable Trust act in 1988. It began its activities with research on Alternate Medicines, Bio diversity conservation, Environmental Protection, Waste management, Forestry Seeds collection by organizing of Adivasis in Tribal villages, followed by a major project on “Integrated Sustainable Livelihood for Tribes”.Simultaneously NMCT entered into Health care activities including Health care for Adolescent girls, Care and Support for people &amp; children infected / affected by HIV/AIDS and awareness on Prevention of HIV/AIDS among industrial migrants.Recently we are partnering with corporate by undertaking their programmes /activities under Corporate Social Responsibility focusing on education and health. NMCT works in 17 districts through conducting Silai Schools of Usha International Ltd empowering Rural Women and Girls aiming at their livelihood. NMCT also supports for Health and Nutrition Education and Promotion of Sanitation infrastructures at Government Schools.NMCT is accredited by Credibility Alliance, Guide Star India-Transparency Key, Member of the National CSR HUB of TATA Institute of Social Sciences. NMCT is also registered under 12 AA, 80G &amp; FCRA of Income Tax Act &amp; NITI AYOG / DARPAN.

Native Medicare Charitable Trust

NFW was seeded in Coimbatore by one Mr. Padmanabhan, during October 2014. It was extended to Chennai City in February 2018. The Chennai Chapter’s Director is Mr. Arun Kumar.<ul><li>NFW is a Registered Organization and the donations to NFW are exempted under 80G of the Income Tax Act.</li><li>We primarily collect edible good quality EXCESS food from Functions, Marriage Halls, Restaurants, Corporate Canteens, etc.</li><li>We have a system to check the quality of food collected and only then provided to people in nearby ‘HUNGER SPOTS”. Hunger Spots are places identified by our Volunteers regarding the number of people, the need, its situation to carry food from the collection point, etc.</li><li>We are working in Association with “Food Safety Standards Of India”. In Tamil Nadu, we work with the Food Safety Department.</li><li>We received 4 Maruti food delivery vans with the active support of the Government. They have provided a place for us to work with. </li><li>We also have 1 Tata Ace vehicle sponsored. </li></ul>We cater all the 15 Zones of Greater Chennai and the adjoining areas in Chengalpattu, Tiruvallur and Kancheepuram districts with this 5 delivery fleet.
