The Guru Vishram Vridh Ashram has a dedicated rescue team that saves the elderly from the streets and gives them immediate medical care upon their arrival at the home. To tend to the multiple health complications of the seniors, the home has a medical facility with doctors and nurses, a physiotherapy unit, a pathology lab, a digital X-ray monitoring machine and a pharmacy to provide 24-hour care to older adults anytime they require assistance, even during emergencies. The post-pandemic scenario has revealed the young childhood crisis affecting the foundations of not only academia but also physical and socio-emotional well-being, especially in children hailing from marginalized, socially disadvantaged communities. The human developmental milestones build upon the previous stages; however, these children who are devoid of resources are unable to achieve those age-appropriate milestones, lest they grow to become productive citizens in the nation-building process. A building can’t stand firm for long if the foundation isn’t deep. And it is here that Connecting Lives, with the mission of providing all-round developmental opportunities and facilitating positive changes, intervenes in this concern and works towards education, promotion of health and well-being with the provision of a healthy daily diet to children from age six to ten years of age. 
 Under the CL Primary initiative, 60 students were screened and depending upon a written test and interview with parents, 15 students were selected.<ul><li>These 15 students are provided education for 2 hours daily which includes 20 different topics; 5 being the NCERT syllabus and others being dance, art &amp;amp; craft, moral values, interpersonal and intra-personal skills, phonics, digital literacy, mental and physical well-being, general awareness/ knowledge, reading skills, sports, life-skill and communications.</li><li>Provision of warm milk combined with turmeric, nuts, fruits and flavoured milk in different combinations regularly.</li><li>Celebrating birthdays and outings are organized for movie screenings every month.</li><li>Parents are accompanied too on outings to build a parent-child healthy bond as well as a bond with the organization.</li><li>Health checkups are conducted every 6 months.</li><li>Monthly exams/tests are conducted to assess their performance and evaluate the effectiveness of the program.</li><li>Stationary distribution, along with other needs every month.</li><li>PTM with fathers and mothers are conducted separately. 1 compulsory meeting with fathers to enable them to know their children in a better way and build bonds professionally so that there is no barrier in children’s learning.</li></ul> 
 Significant mindset shift in parents of children has resulted in positive perceptions about the importance of overall development in children. Children have adapted successfully to the study environment, and display self-discipline and show school readiness.
