Dhyan Foundation has taken up the MASSIVE task of helping the Border Security Force (at the Indo-Bangladesh border) in rehabilitating cows, bulls and calves of all age groups which were rescued from being illegally transported to slaughter houses across the border to Bangladesh. From December 2018 to date, approximately 7000 cattle have been rescued by BSF from smuggling to Bangladesh, at the Indo-Bangladesh Border.Every year, lakhs of cows/bulls are illegally smuggled into Bangladesh where they are turned into shoes, belts and for beef consumption. Cattle number which pass through the border number is very high. Cattle traverse hundreds of kilometres from states like Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand to reach the Bangladeshi cattle markets, called the ‘khattals’. They are transported in trucks to their border destinations in West Bengal and Assam. Chillies are stuffed into the eyes of the animals to keep them standing and save space on the trucks in which they are transported. From these border points, smugglers use either the porous land route or the water ways through the rivers Kalindi, Ichhamati, Raimangal and Hariabhanga of Bangladesh to finally enter the country. In the remote villages, the cattle are bound to one another by iron chains and at night young ‘Rakhals’ or local swimmers, herd the cattle in the water. Thousands of cattle are made to cross this border to reach Bangladesh where these innocent beings land into slaughter houses and are brutally slaughtered.As per Indian Govt records, following are the details of cattle seized by BSF of Indo-Bangladesh border in the past years : Year Cattle seized by BSF.<ul><li>2012- 1,20,724</li><li>2013- 1,22,000</li><li>2014- 1,09,999</li><li>2015- 1,53,602</li><li>2016- 1,46,967 (Upto October, 2016)</li></ul> 
 Dhyan Foundation has started 4 New Animal Shelters in past few months just to rehabilitate these BSF rescued cattle apart from their 25 Animal Shelters running across India. And also has taken up the task of feeding and rehabilitating BSF rescued cattle. List of Newly started Cattle Shelters:<ul><li>Habra,North 24 pargana district West Bengal home for close to 3000 rescued cattle</li><li>Tripura Gaushala housing 1000 BSF rescued cattle</li><li>Baraipur Odisha housing 500 BSF rescued cattle</li><li>Sahibganj ,Jharkhand housing 200 BSF rescued cattle</li></ul>Apart from the rehabilitated cattle Dhyan foundation is feeding more than 2000 cattle on border outposts in West Bengal, Tripura and Meghalaya. No one is willing to rehabilitate these poor cattle because of mafia threats, only Dhyan Foundation has accepted this challenge.Even a small contribution from you would help feed a hungry animal and would go a long way to make a huge difference in stopping this illegality and cruelty against cattle on the borders forever. 
 We are directly saving thousands of lives by stopping illegal transportation outside the nation. The cattle are in extreme distress and undergoing traumatic conditions because of being transported in a cruel manner across the border. They are weak without being given proper food and water. They have been given no medical assistance and are left to die. We are providing employment opportunity to many villagers where the cattle will be rehabilitated. We are also providing the by-products of cattle-rearing for biogas, medicines, cow dung logs etc. We are also encouraging self-help groups and people living in villages for earning their livelihood. We are also actively working with BSF to permanently stop this cross border illegal cattle tracking.

FEED 7000 Cattle, Indian BSF Rescued from smuggling to Bangladesh- APPEAL for DONATION & HELP

<ol><li>Hundreds of cattle are smuggled daily across Indo-Bangladesh border by cattle mafia. This cross border cattle tracking is a multi million dollar business that is known to fund anti national activities including terrorist movement, fake currency trade, arms smuggling etc. While BSF is making attempts to rescue the cattle to stop this racquet, there is a need to shift and rehabilitate them.</li><li>Stray animals going hungry, more so in current lockdown situation with lesser people on roads, restaurants and food shops closed down, and no tourists.</li><li>There are daily cases of abuse, exploitation, trafficking, road accidents and other atrocities on stray and wild animals in India. Dogs are beaten, poisoned and even burnt alive, cows, bulls and camels are smuggled and butchered illegally, horses are abused, old unproductive animals are abandoned, monkeys are electrocuted, their homes - the forests are cleared - the pain and suffering of animals often goes unheard.</li></ol> 
 <ol><li>According to the BSF, Dhyan Foundation is the only organization that has come to their aid in shifting and rehabilitating the cattle rescued from mafia at Indo-Bangladesh Border. Since November 2018, we have successfully shifted and housed nearly 30000 BSF rescues by transporting them and setting up temporary and permanent shelters in Eastern India.</li><li>Dhyan Foundation has intensified its stray feeding drives during the lockdown to feed more than 50,000 dogs, cows, bulls, birds, squirrels, monkeys, langars and more at over 500 spots across India. Even during lockdown, the volunteers were out on the streets to feed strays risking their lives. We also installed water pots for these animals.</li><li>Dhyan Foundation has 30+ shelters Pan India which are home to more than 30,000 rescued animals and the numbers keep increasing daily. We have a 24-Hour Animal Emergency Helpline, 2 animal hospitals and 10 ambulances running in 6 cities. We conduct plastic removal surgeries, vaccination drives, prosthetic limb replacement and physiotherapy for animals, among others.</li></ol> 
 <ol><li>With the combined efforts of BSF and Dhyan Foundation in the last 2 years, cattle smuggling on West Bengal - Bangladesh border has been brought to near zero. We wish to achieve the same at Assam, Tripura, Bihar and other NE state borders.</li><li>We want to ensure no one goes hungry, everyone has a right to food and life.</li><li>While saving a life is not in our hand, it is our constant endeavor to reduce pain in Creation, to lend a voice to the voiceless, to provide a forever home to abandoned and rescued animals under personal love and care of our volunteers. Lets not forget it is our fundamental duty as citizens of India - To protect and improve the natural environment including forests, lakes, rivers, wildlife and to have compassion for living creatures.</li></ol>

Dhyan Foundation is a spiritual and charitable body of volunteers and sadhaks registered formally as a trust in the year 2002. We teach advanced yogic techniques, mantras and meditation. As a precursor to these practices, Karmic Cleansing is essential. Some examples include Chitradurga (Karnataka, 2019), Rewa (Madhya Pradesh, 2018), Kollegal (Karnataka, 2017), Mahoba (Uttar Pradesh, 2017), Latur (Maharashtra, 2016), Dausa (Rajasthan, 2016 &amp; 2017), Hingonia (Rajasthan, 2016)</li><li>Animal Awareness Programs in schools, colleges, institutions and MNCs</li><li>Reflective Neck Belt distribution to prevent stray accidents on roads</li><li>We produce by hand and promote products made from cattle wastes to make the gaushalas self sustainable under the banner of 'Nandi Products’</li><li>Since November 2018, we are working shoulder to shoulder with the border security force of India to rehabilitate the cattle rescued by BSF at Indo Bangladesh border. We have successfully transported and rehabilitated nearly 30,000 such cattle till date.
