Kashish is a 6-year-old blind girl from a small village in India. When we found her, she was in the school with her brother with a burn injury on her leg. We provided her medical aid and when we talked to her, we learned that after losing her mother, Kashish accompanies her brother to school every day so that her father can earn a daily wage for the family. Though Kashish visits school every day, she is not enrolled in the school as a student because of her blindness.
