Gandhigram Trust - located at Dindigul district of Tamilnadu - was founded by Dr.T.S.Soundram and Dr.G.Ramachandran, the direct disciples of Mahatma Gandhi. The Trust was founded on the 7th October 1947 – soon after the independence of our country. The basic ethos “Success attends where truth reigns” the message sent by Mahatma Gandhiji on our inception. Since its inception, Gandhigram Trust is involved in various aspects of rural development. Gandhigram Trust is having more than two decade in water and sanitation project and 7 decades of experience in rural development. The projects were supported by State Government, Central government, World Bank, Ford foundation, Redington foundation and Arghyam.
