The Pandemic caused by Novel Corona Virus (COVID-19) across the globe has landed the entire humanity in a state of chaos. It has shaken the roots of the world economy and has restricted everybody helplessly to the four walls of home.The COVID-19 scenario in India is no different than the rest of world.  The cases in India are rising alarmingly in the last 2 months with doubling time of nearly 11- 15 days across different states. More than 50% of the cases are concentrated in the three cities of Mumbai, Delhi and Ahmedabad. Post lockdown and the migrant labour issues and with their migration back to their native states the cases are on the rise in Bihar, UP and West Bengal. The total cases in India have reached out to more than 2.6 lakhs with more than 50 thousands are in the hospital. The health workers are over worked along with other Covid warriors like police , municipal workers, sanitation workers and frontline volunteers who are busy doing tracing, testing and containing the area. Their safety is our top priority and as large number of Covid workers are getting infected daily the demand for quality PPE kit is on the rise as there is scarcity of such kits across different states and hospitals .The migrant issues and lockdown and quarantine of these migrants in their respective states has opened many loopholes in the system and unaddressed problems like unemployment , financial crisis, food scarcity, transportation and problems related to quarantine of suspected and isolation of cases.  This is the time when everything can’t be left over for government to support health institutions, needy and poor person. It is the time when Non Government Organizations, Corporate Sectors, Well established businessmen and the like should step in for rescue of the Nation as a whole.  
 In accordance with its fundamental principles and spirit of serving the mankind and striving tirelessly for the human race, Grameen Sneh Foundation (GSF) came to the support the health institutions, Police personnel, front-line health workers, needy patients, attendants, stranded passengers, poor women, children and victims of the Lockdown .GSF came up with an initiative called HAUSLA RAHAT –under which GSF established Control Centres in Patna, Vaishali, Kishanganj, Bihar; Srinagar, Anantnag, J&amp;K; Cuttack &amp; Jajapur, Odisha; Darjeeling, West Bengal and Vaishali, Ghaziabad, UP for Delhi-NCR and relief work was carried out. The relief work included supply of safety medical equipment's ( PPE kits) to the health institutions; Dry ration packets, Cooked food packets, sanitation drives and awareness generation for migrant labour, patients, their attendants, stranded passengers. Nearly 5000 PPE kits were distributed to various Govt Health institutions and more than 17000 families got benefited and it is still going on in full swing. To continue this work, GSF believes that huge financial support needs to be garnered. Looking into the growing demand of PPE kits in the health institutions &amp; Police Departments across the country, GSF is going to support Govt/Society/Trust run health institutions for front-line health workers and Police Personnel to support by way of providing 1 lakh PPE Kit, 1 Lakh N-95 Mask, 1 Lakh Nitrile Gloves &amp; Hand sanitisars for 1 lakh personnel in different cities of India. Such step shall help frontline health workers &amp; Police personnel to work for Covid Patients without any fear. Apart from this, as large number of migrants are stationed in quarantine centers and positive cases are put in covid care centers across different states GSF would like to work with the state and district administrations to improve the conditions of these centres, help government to establish isolation wards in hospitals and more covid care and also provide dry ration packets, sanitisation, tele-consultations for migrant labours, lower level income group for more than 1 lakh persons.So our plan to provide above mentioned items in 10 weeks by way of providing such items in 10 equally installment per week in 10 weeks.Henceforth, GSF is required to make long term affiliation with Give India Foundation for  financial support for different locations of Country, as per mutually agreed location. 
 Following shall be impact after implementation of this project:-<ul><li>More than 1 lakh front-line Covid warriors (with special focus for contractual person) in different health institutions/ Police Personnel/ PWD / Municipality are saved from infection and can safely provide their services to the nation</li><li>At least 50% of contractual frontline health workers/Police Personnel shall have less probability of Coronavirus effect while working on duty.</li><li>To support more than 100000 families belonging to migrant labour &amp; lower level income group in such distress pandemic situation who are on verge of starvation.</li><li>Improved Covid care in the institutions especially hospitals, covid care/ quarantine centres.</li><li>Reduced mortality rate within the project area.</li><li>Improved credibility of Give India Foundation &amp; Grameen Sneh Foundation to provide support and adequate care to frontline health workers &amp; needy persons.</li></ul>
