Katalyst India, is an award winning NGO that stands for the economic and social empowerment of women. Katalyst started in 2007 with the intent of liberating young women, through the pursuit of STEM education. The initiative prepares young women for leadership roles, thereby creating a wider talent pool and helping bridge the gender divide. Katalyst achieves this objective through a blend of unique development interventions, including our 600 hour proprietary and scientifically researched curriculum. Over their four years in the program, we also provide one-to-one mentorship, access to best in class technology, assistance with internships, and world class industry exposure and corporate interactions. Katalyst’s vision is to empower women for equality in opportunity and leadership.

How we utilise funds
2 November 2022
Dear All,
Pravalikha had applied for deferral in 2021, due to lack of funds, which was approved by NYU Tandon school of Engineering and they allowed her to join her academic session in August 2022. While she was preparing to go for her higher studies in Aug '22, she got a medical emergency due to disk prolapse and arthritis. She has been undergoing medical treatment since then. Although her health is improving, the progress has been very slow. She has been advised by the Doctors to not travel anywhere for 2 - 3 years until her health is fully recovered. Due to her current health condition, Pravalika has decided to take a break from her dream to study abroad and pursue it later when she is healthy.
