Humanitarian Aid International (HAI), was founded in May 2016 with the overall mission of working globally as an Indian organisation, while being headquartered in India, to alleviate poverty, hunger and suffering. As of now, our work in confined to India only across four thematic areas, i.e., 1) humanitarian response, 2) disaster risk reduction, 3) climate change & adaptation and 4) humanitarian advocacy. Since the inception, HAI has responded to almost every major disaster in India. At global level also, HAI is well-connected with some key global processes, including the UN led Agenda4Humanity and Grand Bargain. HAI currently hosts the global secretariat of Charter4Change. HAI is also one of the founders and international coordinator of Alliance for Empowering Partnerships (A4EP). HAI is also member of ADRRN and United against Inhumanity. HAI is also part of several committees of Start Network, including the Membership Committee. HAI is also steering committee member of World Humanitarian Action Forum.
