She feels glad to have finally found a safe home.Dr Anjana Goswami along with her husband Mukul, started Ashadeep Day Rehabilitation Centre four decades back and since then, the couple have rescued over 1,200 mentally ill homeless from the streets. We have exclusively conducted many health camps in rural areas along with local associations etc. We are concentrating more on health care because the scenario has changed after COVID-19. Along with it, we are conducting awareness on alcohol and drug addiction. Due to market fluctuations in business and other financial crises, people are passing through depression and stress. In this regard, they are developing suicide tendencies along with alcohol and drug addiction. We are going into public to create awareness with a team of Psychiatric doctors, Counsellors, and our medical team. If any patient is in emergency we are shifting the patient to the rehabilitation center.
