For a mother who has spent her entire life loving and raising her child, being beaten and mercilessly thrown out onto the streets by her own son is too heartbreaking to overcome. If the children don’t relent even then, the abusers put chilli powder so that children will say “yes” because of the burning of the skin… There are teeth marks on their bodies, and their vaginal parts are burnt. When children stay in these conditions, it is painful even to hear,” says Lalitha SA of the Society for Participatory Integrated Development (SPID), while talking about many heart-rending stories of trafficked children in red-light areas. In over three decades, the team of SPID led by Lalitha, has saved over 3000 children from the red-light areas in Delhi, such as GB Road, and many from clutches of sex trafficking. Health: Most girls from rural &amp; Semi Urban areas lack knowledge related to their health like Menstrual Hygiene, Anaemia, etc. Which later leads to bigger health problems if not diagnosed on time. Education: Almost all the Middle Schools in rural &amp; semi-urban areas do not have quality educational resources such as labs, smart classes, etc. To cater to this problem ISCI Foundation is setting up STEM Lab in the middle schools.Environment: Deforestation &amp; Soil Erosion is a very big problem almost everywhere. To cater to this ISCI Foundation is running activities related to sustainable environmental initiatives. 
 ISCI Foundation is running sustainable health, educational &amp; environmental programs to cater to these issues. We have set up 10 Sanitary Napkin Vending Machines in different girl's schools and provided Menstrual Hygiene Awareness programs with the help of Renowned Doctors. We have also distributed reusable sanitary napkins to marginalized girls. ISCI Foundation has prepared 100000 Seed Balls and is dispersing them in the predefined forest areas. We have started setting up STEM Labs in middle schools.

In this information age, learning outcomes depend on access to information. However, there is a wide gap between rural and urban India's availability, access, and utilization of information.Compared to students living in cities, children in rural areas are often deprived of resources and infrastructure and lack access to a support system that can nurture their intellectual development. The STEM learning lab addresses all these issues.Due to the unavailability of resources, the children get discouraged from pursuing studies in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), which help them develop a logical and analytical mind. Due to the theoretical only approach to education, the children get bored, and due to this children either lose interest in studying the subjects or there is a shallow admission rate in schools, and the dropout rate is comparatively higher.We request you to support our STEM Learning Lab initiative to help these children get a quality education. 
 With the aim of bridging this gap, we have promoted the setting up of STEM learning labs in villages and government middle schools. STEM Learning labs are all about creating a conducive environment for children to come together and access a lot of educational resources.We have learned from our past experiences with STEM Learning Programs that children love creativity and innovative way of learning concepts and it also positively impact the learning outcomes and increases attendance in the schools.The main objective of the STEM learning lab is to improve learning outcomes. When we refer to learning outcomes, it implies a change in the learning behavior of children by creating a space that is designed in a way that it can engage many people at a time - education fellows (teachers), students, parents, and volunteers.Our STEM education project is designed with the goal of building ‘thinking skills’ that equip children with the ability to learn and adapt quickly. Help Setup STEM Learning Lab for Rural & Deprived Children

Poor women, especially in rural and semi-urban areas, struggle to get a clean piece of cloth to manage their period every month. There is a lack of awareness about menstrual health and hygiene. Living in a culture of shame and silence, they end up using poor substitutes like rags and ash, or worse they use NOTHING.This aggravates their day-to-day misery around this basic need.  
 ISCI Foundation, through its menstrual health &amp; hygiene awareness program, is installing Sanitary Napkin Vending Machines in the girl schools around Gwalior. We have undertaken a lot of menstrual awareness camps in backward areas with the best gynecologists to promote menstrual health and have provided free sanitary pads to women and girls.We provide high-quality, properly sanitized sanitary pads to the girls from these schools and to women and girls of the backward areas. When you donate to this program, you help women and girls in underprivileged communities get access to sanitary pads to manage their periods. 
 Rani is not afraid of her period anymore**When Rani got her period, no one including her mother spoke to her about it. She didn't know how to manage her bleeding.** Through a friend, she learned that she had to use a cloth to absorb the blood. Not knowing how to get a cloth, she ended up using pillow covers and bed sheets. This angered her mother and she got beaten up for wasting money.She came to know of sanitary pads through a classmate. When she asked her for a few, she was snubbed saying they were expensive and could not be given away for free.Rani started falling sick with the fear of getting her period. With no access to sanitary products, she resorted to praying to God to stop her periods forever. Her period, which is a normal bodily function, became an unbearable trauma for Rani.It was during this time that ISCI Foundation came in with the 'Menstrual Hygiene Program' initiative for her school. She got her 'Free Sanitary Pad' kit which came with sanitary pads and a menstrual hygiene awareness brochure. This kit changed her life and gave her the freedom to live like a normal adolescent child. She doesn't dread her period anymore and knows how to manage it.Women in India's rural areas are struggling with the basic needs of life. A lot of people have lost their jobs, especially from the weaker sections of society such as housemaids, house servants, construction workers, etc. These people mostly reside in slums and now they have not enough money left to even get the meals for their family.</li><li>We have interacted with those families and their kids. They need help in getting jobs and until they have their jobs, they have to sleep hungry. We at ISCI Foundation have decided to provide meals to those families so that they can at least survive through these tough times of pandemics.</li></ul> 
 To help these families survive through these tough times, we have decided to provide them cooked food and some ration for those families. 
 This food donation drive is providing support to the families affected by COVID19. Those people are getting motivated again to find new jobs and this drive is helping them to adjust to the current situation.
