For a mother who has spent her entire life loving and raising her child, being beaten and mercilessly thrown out onto the streets by her own son is too heartbreaking to overcome. But this is a common story among the elderly residents of the Guru Vishram Vridh Ashram. “I’ve seen mothers in old and torn clothes, their bodies smelling and their hands and feet rotting and covered in maggots,” shares Dr. G.P. Bhagat, founder of the ashram. These abandoned elderly men and women lay starving on the streets hoping for someone to rescue them from their suffering. The Guru Vishram Vridh Ashram has a dedicated rescue team that saves the elderly from the streets and gives them immediate medical care upon their arrival at the home. To tend to the multiple health complications of the seniors, the home has a medical facility with doctors and nurses, a physiotherapy unit, a pathology lab, a digital X-ray monitoring machine and a pharmacy to provide 24-hour care to older adults anytime they require assistance, even during emergencies. The concept of Kanya Pujan motivates the masses to support Girl Education and Well-being residing in the underprivileged section by catering to their traditional belief of Navratri Kanyapujan. It also promotes the scientific significance of Indian tradition to work constructively for achieving UN SDGs. <ul><li>·        It is estimated that over 2.4 crore girls globally are on the verge of dropping out of school due to the Covid pandemic. </li><li>·        In India, Literacy for females stands at 65.46%, compared to 82.14% for males.</li><li>·        Ten years after the <a href="https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/topic/Right-to-Education" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" target="_blank">Right to Education</a> (RTE) Act came into being, nearly 40% of adolescent girls in the age group of 15-18 years are not attending school. While 30% of girls from the poorest families have never set foot in a classroom.</li></ul>There is a great deal of virtue spoken in Hinduism that may help to demolish the hypocrisies of patriarchy and promote women's empowerment.  It is undoubtedly an essential and positive approach to address religious beliefs for behavioral changes in women empowerment.Therefore, congruence with religion and spirituality would be pretty impactful if the goals are realized at a grassroots level in India. This innovative idea is the backbone of the KanyaPujan. 
 Most of us celebrate Navratri Kanyapujan twice a year and pray for prosperity and happiness in our family by worshiping young girls at our home. Continuing the same practices, we came up with an idea to motivate privileged section of the society to modify their version of Kanya Pujan and practice the Sustainable Kanya Pujan with Underprivileged Girls in the following manner – ·        After completing the Kanya Pujan rituals, families should give six months of Education Material to the girls as a return gift instead of giving them money.·        Request them to come again in next Navratri Kanyapujan to repeat the same till 9 years to make it Sustainable ·        Whenever they come, educate them about Good Touch- Bad Touch, Menstrual Health &amp; Hygiene, and provide them Sanitary kits.·        Take responsibility for their Annual Health check-up to identify the life-threatening diseases early and provide required intervention.  ·        Support them in completing their education by depositing their school &amp; tuition fees directly. ·        Meet them at least twice a year by visiting their home; it will boost their morale and save them from exploitation, child marriages, and different evil practices. ·        Give them your contact number to help them in any emergency. ·        Motivate their parents to support their education and skill development. The primary aim of this program is to involve individuals in the process of worshipping girls so that their education, Health, and basic necessities are considered of utmost importance. 
 ●    To instill the idea in privileged families, socially adopt a minimum of 2 to 9 girls for 9 years to provide health, education, and well-being. ●    To build a concern for a girl's child's education and provide her safe space for her holistic development. ●    To save young girls from myths, taboos, patriarchal mindsets, and evil practices are the main hurdles in empowering them. ●    This initiative has directly impacted the lives of 3287 adolescent girls. It was launched and celebrated in 2019 in 47 Cities across India in a day.  ●    It involved lakhs of families in innovative ways of upholding their daughter's dignity and integrity and making each individual realize that they are unique and hold the future of our nation.●    A Unique Concept encourages individuals to take responsibility for girls' well-being by performing traditional rituals in Navratri.

Addiction to Drugs Substance Abuse is one of the most significant social evils that India is striving to win over. It significantly affects the young minds, which makes an asset to the Nation.But what exactly drives them towards this horrendous practice of drug abuse? There could be various reasons, including societal pressure and environment, health, family, abuse, neglect, vengeance, poverty, unemployment, and mental stress being a few. The situation prevalent in the slums of India is substandard and unpleasant, owing to the widespread prevalence of poverty and illiteracy in these areas. Unable to cope with the harsh and ruthless realities of life, youth from slum areas, especially the male population, indulge in heavy drug abuse. Besides being under the influence of drugs and substance abuse, these unprivileged children are instigated towards social malpractices and heinous crimes, including violence against women The program targeted young boys residing in slums and underdeveloped areas of Delhi due to an ever-growing increase in substance use and crime. Causes of juveniles turning towards drug abuse: 1.                 Lack of supervision2.                 Availability of drugs3.                 Stereotyping4.                 Engaging with the wrong company 
 The project is designed to divert Young Boys, Delinquents, and juveniles and at-risk boys from substance abuse and criminal activities by involving them in Sports, fitness dance, YOGA and mental health cum career counseling. With the support of Delhi Police, we identify the right candidates and engage them in dark hours for intensive physical activities by providing them fruit supplements.We also conduct reward-based tournaments to enhance the interest of the participants and to make them disciplined and skilled in respective activities.The idea of choosing sports, fitness dance, and Yoga is based on scientific research which plays a vital role in diverting them from substance use.  Intensive physical workout and Joyful activities gives them sense of pleasure and relaxation due to release of happy hormones such as dopamine, endorphin that lead towards reduction of stress and anxiety among individuals and instilment of positivityAfter the completion of the 6 month training, participants will be given skill training through YUVA initiative of Delhi Police along with Employment opportunities 
 It is especially designed to reduce access to substance use and crime, render young boys with productive and useful tools, and make them an asset for the society. JOSH being one of its kind, is an attempt to tackle the growing issue of drug use among youngsters and help them with restoring methods to regain their lost energy and develop into better citizens.The program targeted young boys residing in slums and underdeveloped areas of Delhi due to an ever-growing increase in substance use and crime. The focus also extends to dark hours due to the prevalence of crime and substance use in them and the onset of anti-social activities during the time of day, making it even more impactful.Currently, this program is being implemented in 5 districts of Delhi. Through this Initiative, we envision building a force of young minds that can be given a platform to rise above their circumstances and build a life beneficial for themselves and society. The program works to construct a society of youthful minds, physically enhanced bodies, and socially impacted individuals. The program launched by Delhi Police with graceful presence of World Amateur Champion Ms. Mary Kom and till now the project has benefitted 4000 + young boys.

The pandemic has disrupted everyday living, and has led to increasing poverty, hunger and economic downfall. It has made domestic workers most vulnerable due to loss of jobs. Families are struggling to feed themselves. New mothers are suffering from malnutrition and are unable to provide their newborns with milk. The Ladli Foundation Trust is seeking support for newborns from slums in Delhi NCR whose mothers are unable to provide them with basic nutrition by providing  milk supply, dry ration, sanitary kits etc. More than 1 lakh beneficiaries have already been reached. You can support the organisation in providing milk to newborns at the small cost of ₹1,500 per month. The second covid wave has destructively impacted the lives of the people financially and mentally.  Since the pandemic began, Ladli Foundation has been tirelessly working at the grassroot level to provide Dry Ration, Milk, Sanitary Kits, Masks &amp; Hand Wash to Domestic &amp; Migrants Laborers in different slums of Delhi NCR. The organisation has impacted more than 1 lakh families and continues to work with local authorities to identify people in extreme need.Humanity means standing up for those in need, ultimately making them stable enough to overcome crisis.  Providing Dry Ration, Milk for babies, and essential commodities will give immediate relief to laborers and domestic workers who have lost their jobs. The expected outcome is to address hunger and malnutrition which lower immunity and make the body susceptible to COVID-19 and other life-threatening diseases. Crisis and distress drives people to rioting and robbery thereby disrupting society's overall peace and well-being. Covid Rahat Sewa- Support to give Milk & Ration for Newborns of Domestic workers who lost jobs in pandemic

Every year more than 23 million female students across India drop out of school due to inadequate sanitation and essential menstrual hygiene facilities and awareness. 120 million menstruating adolescents face menstrual dysfunctions, nearly 60,000 cases of cervical cancer deaths are reported every year from the country, two-thirds of which are due to poor menstrual hygiene. Menstruation has been a traditional taboo leading to inhumane practices accompanied by life-threatening consequences for women's health. Most girls use the alternative, rag cloth, used sanitary pad, which leads to fungal and bacterial infection. These women are at a high risk of contracting pathological leucorrhea and cervical cancer. Our ground activities and research-based analysis state that society's patriarchal mindset, inequality, and high illiteracy rate are responsible for poor menstrual practices among vulnerable women. It has created significant Gaps in Women's Development.  One cannot imagine the severity of problems related to menstrual hygiene in ordinary lives, and the pandemic has worsened the situation even more. In poverty-stricken families, women have resorted to the unhygienic traditional methods of menstrual practices as their funds are prioritized to meet other needs such as food or essentials. But we should understand that menstruation, an inherent part of the biological cycle, will not stop even in the pandemic. A sanitary napkin is as essential as our daily bread for healthy wellbeing. In addition to it, one can imagine that persons with disabilities face additional problems concerning access to healthcare, especially menstrual hygiene.   
 We not just distribute free Sanitary Pads &amp; Personal Hygiene Kits for women also educate them about sustainable menstrual practices. We have installed 500 + Sanitary Pad Vending Machines and incinerators in girls' schools to access these products. We have implemented this initiative in 7 states and directly benefitted over 1 Million women.  Continuously this initiative is being implemented with the following objectives and activities: ●      To create awareness about, prevention of life-threatening chronic diseases, including STDs.●      Provide them with the basic knowledge of menstrual and personal hygiene.●      It includes sensitization camps having sessions on good touch - bad touch, sexual abuse.●      Further, we discuss mental health and the growing need for awareness among young females about their overall wellbeing, felicitating a point of concern among all.●      Sensitization about Malnutrition, Anemia, Nutritious Diet and healthy lifestyle by adopting sustainable living practices. ●      Sensitization about Gender-Based Violence, Discrimination &amp; Crimes Against Women●      Another critical point of discussion under this phase is the importance of family planning to accommodate the growing needs of society●      We also encourage women to switch on environment-friendly and sustainable measures by providing menstrual cups and sensitization.  
  ·        Safe &amp; Sustainable menstrual hygiene practices reduced pelvic infections and infertility risk. ·        Reducing the chances of UTI, Leukocoria, STD’s and other transferable and other diseases related to not maintaining proper Hygiene. ·        Significantly improved awareness among women about health, health-seeking behavior, and prescribed health care practices; nutritional Anaemia ·        Improved maternal &amp; child health practices, safe motherhood, safe sex and spacing among children, reduced maternal and child morbidity &amp; mortality;·        It will reduce the chances of spreading infectious diseases among the community ·        The implementation of sustainable MHM practices promotes a sustainable environment. We seek your support to further our efforts to benefit more females by replicating our successfully implemented initiatives.
