For a mother who has spent her entire life loving and raising her child, being beaten and mercilessly thrown out onto the streets by her own son is too heartbreaking to overcome. But this is a common story among the elderly residents of the Guru Vishram Vridh Ashram. “I’ve seen mothers in old and torn clothes, their bodies smelling and their hands and feet rotting and covered in maggots,” shares Dr. G.P. Bhagat, founder of the ashram. These abandoned elderly men and women lay starving on the streets hoping for someone to rescue them from their suffering. Hunger! We all know the feeling of being hungry and many of us are fortunate enough to satisfy our hunger everyday by the food we eat. But, there are many others who are not so fortunate and struggle everyday to get even a day’s meal and some strive only on left overs. We at loving hearts provide freshly prepared food to such people. We meet the abandoned/mentally challenged/disabled beggars on the streets, and not only distribute the food but also talk to them, sit with them, and possibly fulfill their basic needs. We also meet the trans gender sympathize with them and talk to them with respect. 
 We feed 40+ under privileged children and 10 adults on a daily basis. That is the financial stability we have. If there is support with funds, we will be providing 3 meals and reach out to as many 100s of destitute as possible. We will be glad to cater our services to the rural areas and save the death of humans, who die of hunger.
