Impact Suman was a 7-year-old child without any dreams. Simple joys like going to school and making friends were alien to her. Her father had a damaged kidney and her mother was a daily wage worker. Their extreme poverty neither allowed them to send her to school and nor were they able to fulfill her small needs. About The Program Mazi Sainik's 'Every Girl Child In School' program provides education to underprivileged girl children. About The NGO The Mazi Sainik Shishan ani Swasthya Kalyan Sanstha (MSSASKS) is a charitable Trust. It has been established by ex servicemen (ESMs) and like minded civilians. The genesis of the Trust lies with the formation of the Bombay Ex servicemen Association in 1990. This Organisation has been established by Mr. M Prasad a retired Masterchief of the Indian Navy, Capt Sharma (Indian Army) and others with Cmde. BB Mistry (retd) as the Patron, inspiration, mentor and guide. By 2004 the Association had been successful in the rehab of 300 ESMs and had settled the problems related to pensions of 15 dependents.In 1994, a plan to establish a Sainik Nagar to provide affordable housing to ESMs was launched and land acquired near Karjat about 120 Kms from Bombay for a pilot Project. After numerous hitches and hurdles the Project commenced. Today there are 15 row houses with the PBORs and like minded civilians at the lowest possible cost to owner.The location of this Project is at village Diksal. Continuous visits in connection with the housing Project brought the ESMs in contact with the inhabitants. The locals were mainly Tribals, underprivileged and the marginalized. Electricity, clean drinking water, facilities for health, hygiene, and education was a far cry. The people wallowed in neglect and accepted destitution as their fate.Mr. Prasad and the ESMs decided to dedicate time and effort to improve the lot of the locals. The existing structure has severe limitations. It has no rooms for Science/Physics/Chemistry/Biology Labs, Computer and English language Lingua Labs and Arts &amp; Hobbies skill training, Music &amp; dance, Library &amp; reading, Basic Health and Hygiene Care, Mid-day meals &amp; related support Pantry facilities, Principal/Teachers/Staff, School Office, Stores.These deficiencies result in over crowding, bunching, general environment of stepping on each others toes. Lack of independent Labs limits education quality. Lack of Arts, music &amp; dance rooms limit our ability to impart skill training. Lack of meal rooms has caused cessation of mid-day meal service. Lack of health care &amp; hygiene rooms severely limits our ability to attend to emergencies and educate children and mothers in this vital need. Absence of Computer rooms places severe limitation on the IT teaching &amp; training as well as on the security, on site repairs and maintenance.

The Mazi Sainik Shikshan ani SwasthaKalyan Sanstha [MSSASKS] is a charitable Trust. It has been established by ex-servicemen. In 2004 an educational project was conceived. It was named as “Daffodils”. The idea of imparting better education and health facility to the local community was executed vide 2 mission led by Mazi Sainik:- (1) Mission Education (2) Mission Health	In Daffodils English Medium Charitable school total 95 boys and 83 girls are studying. 	Their Tuition fees Rs.1200 per month and Rs.1200/- for Bus Transport on a sliding scale depending upon distance from the school is the basic requirement per student. 	The teachers’ salary of Daffodils school is approximately Rs.1,00,000/-.	Non Teaching staff Salary is Rs.30,000/-.      	Diesel expenses of Bus is 50,000/- per month.       	In this pandemic situation parents are not able to pay their School and tuition fees. Many parents have lost their job. Some parents' occupation is Agriculture and their economic condition is very poor. All the teachers and staff of tis school did not get salary from March 2020 to December 2020.  If the school get any financial help then the school will do more better for these students.  
 1.   To Impact English Medium education to the underprivileged children from Tribal, Economically weaker section of the society from the surroundings of 26 villages within a span of 25 kilometers of the school.2.    It aims to ensure equal opportunities to all children in a friendly and caring environment.3.   To ensure that the students develop their academic skills, our school has taken different initiatives throughout the year.4.   ‘A healthy mind resides in a healthy body’. Daffodils has always taken that extra step to make the students believe in that. The sports department organized a series of Inter House indoors and outdoors tournaments for the games of chess, football and cricket throughout the year. Pratiksha Hilal and Sankalp Gaikwad have won the district level chess competition in the whole Raigad District of Maharashtra in the year 2019-20.  
 In Daffodils English Medium Charitable school total 95 boys and 83 girls are studying. They are very talented and some are good in sports. They won the certificate of State level competition also. Our school wants to help these children in all the ways. We want to provide all the facilities to these students.We wish all our students will take proper education and become successful in their life.

Mission Education of poor children.

The Trust Is An Initiative In The Spirit Of Pay Back To The Society. It Is Registered Since 1998. It Is Located At Sainik Nagar, Village Diksal, Karjat, Thane West Maharashtra, India 410201.The Trust Operates An English Medium School Named Daffodils Ans A Mission Health Named Aarogya.The School Has 15 Rooms And One Hall. It Covers Curriculum From Nursery To Class 10. It Is Equipped With Smart Learning, Computer Lab With 10 Computers, Facilities For Sports, Music, Yoga, Self Defense &amp; 2 School Buses. The On Site Teaching And Support Staff Consists Of 17 Ladies And 2 Male Bus Drivers.The School Covers 26 Villages Within A Radius Of 25 Km. The Present Student Strength Is 184. The School Has Registered 100% Pass In The 2017-18 State Board 10Th Class Exam. Education Is Subsidized Between 80% T0 90%The Mission Health Caters To Basic Nutrition, Health Check Program For The Students. Regular Medical Monitoring Is Done Ever Six Monthly. Parents Are Counselled On Nutrition And Preventive Care, Health And Hygiene. We Have Voluntary Doctors On Request. Free Cataract Operations Are Carried Out For The Needy. All Services Are Gratis.
