She is studying 6th grade. She lost her parents to HIV/AIDS. She is supported by Ms. Pamela Molino, NCT’s friend and a long-term benefactor. Prathyusha is cared by her aging grand mother right now.  She wants to become a doctor so that she could help people sufferring from HIV/AIDS. She says that she does not want other children to lose their parents to AIDS and become orphan like her. A bright and active girl with a clear vision for her future. Thank you, Pam for your kindness. NCT, remains grateful to you!SUMMARY: While we know well that education is the stepping stone to success, it is extremely difficult for many to be able to afford the same. It is not just higher education, even quality primary education remains a distance dream for many children from the poorest of the poor communities. This fundraising campaign will support NCT's Poor Children Education Projects which ensures children especially girl children from the poorest communities complete quality primary and secondary schooling. Of the total sponsored children, 60% of the children are girls and most of them are orphans. This fund support education of 120 orphan, semi-orphan and the poorest of the poor children. 
 BACKGROUND: The target rural villages on the western region of Kurnool district in Andhra Pradesh is known for chronic droughts and extreme poverty. The villages suffer high ratio of school dropouts and child marriages. Moreover, the impact of COVID-19 has pushed already poor communities into extreme poverty.NCT Poor Children Education project prevents children becoming the victims of poverty and ensures sustained quality education. Besides school fees, the program also provides all school learning materials, uniforms, shoes, medical care, mentor support and supplementary support for children. These families have been hit extremely hard by Covid-19, losing loved ones and jobs, spending too much on medical costs, falling prey to despair, and dropping out of school.<img src="https://cfstatic.give.do/3289728f-a170-4a27-8ce3-97d69dd619ba.jpg" style="display:inline;float:left;margin:0px 1em 1em 0px" width="250" />CHALLENGE: Without this education support, many students - especially girls - will drop out and will never return. They will be forced into child labor and early marriage, and subjected to violence and abuse. Instead, with your help, they can go back to school and realize their dreams. 
 LONG-TERM IMPACT: This fund aims to ensure that all girls and boys have access to quality early childhood development, care and education. NewBeginnings supports the education of children from the poorest of the poor communities in the Kurnool district. Other than education, NewBeginnings also trains children in crafts and other creative skills at weekends. 
 Your donations will be used for buying textbooks, stationaries, uniforms for each child under our NCT Education programmes. 94% of your donation will be spent on children and 6% of your donation would be spent on children's health care and nutrition.100% of your donation would be spent on children.Each child is followed up personally and ensured children attend schools regularly without break. 
 While NCT gives equal importance to the education of both boys and girls, we strongly emphasize on the education of girl children. Livelihood

Mrs. Yananam Lakshmi, a widow, 44yrs, with a son from Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. Since four years, she has been suffering from multiple fractures on her Left leg, right forearm and her hip requiring bone grafting and implantation. She has become bound to her bed all these years. In simple terms, she is bed-ridden and her son cares even her personal (natural calls) needs. Because of her poverty, she is not able to go through the much needed surgery and hospitalisation. Her son is a daily wage labourer earning around Rs 300 ($ 4) per day earlier. However, he is completely occupied by his mother looking after her. If he finds any daily wage labour near to his house, he goes. This poor family suffers both financially and physically. 
 She needs multiple implantation on her hip, and right forearm. The doctor/surgeon has assured that she would become like any other healthy human being and able to do her works and support her family as usual after the surgery.The total medical expenses towards her surgery is Rs. 350,000 ( $4730). The surgery would be at Kamineni Hospitals, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, once we are able to collect the required donation 
 Mrs. Yanam Lakshmi would become perfectly healthy woman, able to build her family with a good futureA poor widow would be able to live a normal life with dignity and peace.If we could raise more than the required amount for her surgery, the excess amount would be used towards post-surgery home care and support her family. Medical Emergency: A widow with multiple fractures requires multiple implantations

Chenchu Lakshmi Gudem is a remotely located indigenous tribal hamlet in Mahanandi Mandal of Andhra Pradesh, India. The hamlet lacks even necessities for a living, including a primary school. There are 150 families in this hamlet. People in this hamlet are illiterate and live on the scanty income they get from selling forest products. Being illiterate and unskilled has made them victims of generational poverty. Children and girls are the victims of poverty and remain child labourers. Moreover, the illiterate marginalized community also reports child marriages. Most of the people in this tribe remain illiterate since they live primarily isolated and remote. There are 57 children, in the age group of 5-14 years, in this hamlet. They deserve a better life and future. Educating them is the best way to break the cyclic generational poverty.  
 This fundraising is to support the education of fifty-seven illiterate Chenchu tribal children. We want to start two bridge course centers in this tribal village. We will employ two trained teachers to educate the children. The children will be divided into groups suitable for primary and upper-primary education. Following the Samagra Sikshya Abhiyan, the children will be educated in this project.Children will learn languages, sciences, mathematics, sports, crafts, and drawing. The bridge course centers will follow play-way methods of learning. This enables the overall development of the child development in terms of emotions, intellect, and skill parameters. The entire learning method will revolve around activity-based learning. This way, the children find learning fun and exciting.NewBeginnings requests your support to buy textbooks and writing books, stationery items such as pens, pencils, drawing items, etc., IEC materials, sports &amp; craft items, illustrating books for the children, and pay for the two teachers.This project is imperative since educating the tribal children is the most important way the tribal community can improve personal endorsement, build capacity levels, overcome socio-economic barriers, and expand opportunities to sustain their well-being. 
 After this bridge course, the children can continue their regular education once we mainstream them in regular schools.The educated Chenchu-children become a source of inspiration for other children in the tribal community and start education. They become the agents of transformation toward the development of their tribal community. With education and skill, the children will help their community break from cyclic poverty.With continuous education and better qualifications, the tribal children become eligible for the government schemes to build a better future and livelihood for themselves and their community.
