The COVID-19 pandemic marks an unprecedented time in modern history that will require the best of humanity to overcome. This crisis threatens everyone’s way of life, but it is especially difficult for people who are already vulnerable, Specially the peoples who belong to cluster or slum areas and poor background i.e. labour, a rickshaw puller, residing on the footpath, migrated peoples and other vulnerable groups are already badly affected due to the nationwide lockdown.The impact of the pandemic on supply chains is massive for health and humanitarian partners, as well as Governments nationwide, travel restrictions and border closures. Border closures, import/export, and port restrictions reduced commercial aviation and shipping operations, and restrictions on movements have directly impacting the availability of food and other essential needs.There is very little or no awareness about hygiene and preventive measures. Social (physical) distancing is also not too much of an option in these clusters or slum areas. If even one person gets infected, the virus would spread exponentially in these areas. If we don’t provide them a safety net now, every one of them, their children and other dependants are in danger. 
 We are all affected by the growing COVID-19 pandemic. It's an unprecedented health challenge. The Government of India has also locked down the entire country because of this serious disease, the Government has taken larger steps in this regard, the NSKS which is carrying a social responsibility is arranging the supply of dry rations or cooked food to the people in the slums, footpaths, and other places, We are really grateful for your support. Daily distribution of nutritious cooked meals in 300 families (Lunch &amp; Dinner): Based on continuous need assessment and our experience of work we have figured out locations where we need to distribute nutritious cooked food. Our volunteers are moving with vehicles that are collecting nutritious cooked food from a central kitchen and reaching this area in afternoon or Evening for distribution of nutritious food up to one month.2.) Distribution of dry ration to 300 families: Particularly for stranded migrant workers, rickshaw puller, daily wages workers the pandemic affected families in Sangam Vihar, New Delhi, and to the distressed families in the this area we have also been packing and delivering dry ration kits in bulk. The kits include WHEAT FLOUR ATTA-25 Kg., RICE-5 Kg., PULSE-2 Kg., SALT-1 Kg., SUGAR-4 Kg., REFINED OIL-2 Ltr., RED CHILLI POWDER-200 Gm., TURMERIC POWDER-200 Gm., CORIANDER POWDER-100 Gm., ZEERA-100Gm., BATHING SOAP-5 Nos. DETERGENT BAR-5 Nos., TOOTHPASTE, DRY MILK POWDER-500 Gms. Etc.  The cost of the above kit round about Rs. 2100.00 per kit, NSKS want to deliver this kit to 300 families after one month to start again their life.3.) Facilitated Distribution of nutritious cooked meals: Apart from this we also facilitated distribution through fraternal networks in several areas. ·       GOOD HYGIENE AND SOCIAL (PHYSICAL) DISTANCING are the best ways to protect yourself and everyone around you from the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) according to the World Health Organization. The virus spreads through droplets expelled by a person who has the disease, including by contact with surfaces a sick person has touched. Because most of us can’t isolate ourselves entirely, good hand hygiene can be the final barrier between us and the disease.·       To give the awareness among the public and give the face masks and hand Sanitizer. We cover 300 families (in which 4 person in the family. Each face mask for each family member.·       Our aims to protect our Frontline Healthcare Workers with safety kits and PPE kits. PPE Kit prevents the transmission of Coronavirus. Your contribution will help healthcare workers with protective gear and essential equipment to fight COVID-19. The kits will include masks, gloves, gowns, head cover, boot cover, hand washing liquid soap bottles, face- shield, hand towels etc.
